XF Arcade -- Looking for some testers!

XF Arcade

Cadet
You may have seen our post over at XenForo.com...
We're quietly looking for some extra testers. Anybody interested? If so, please create an account over at XFArcade.com and then send me a PC over there with your account name. Make sure you have filled in your site URL in your profile so we know where you'll be testing.

Advance warning (aka: don't say we didn't tell you ahead of time when you are disappointed later): We have rebooted the beta cycle and XFA is currently a very basic platform. Essentially a way to list games to the user, allow the user to play the game, and then capture their score. No leaderboard yet, no individual game score pages yet, no comments yet, no postbit award images yet. We are concentrating on the core basics from which to build upon.

If anybody would like to help out with the project in any way your input would be most welcome!
... and it is true, we are looking for some additional people who are willing to help us test.

You don't have to run it on your live site though you can if you want to. Wherever you run it we just ask that you provide feedback while you're testing. That's the important part -- we need to know what works for you and what doesn't. If you're just curious then check out the Arcade installed here but if you want to help test then let us know.

Be sure to take a look at the FAQ. If you have any questions that we haven't already addressed, feel free to ask!

I would love to help too.
Right now I'm busy with a project but next week I will be able to setup a test installation for the XFA testing.

Would love to be able to test out the new arcade. Im always messing with my forum so I will be able to provide you will instant bug updates, reviews, suggestions, and etc instantly through here. Pick me!

Yes, the thread is alive but bear with me in that in the US most things are slowing down due to the holidays. In the alpha testers group I've released a new update this past weekend and we've been dealing with a few other issues that have come up since.

I'll be going back through this thread to add additional people to the beta testers group in the next few days. At the moment there are two test groups, alpha (XFA Pioneers) & betas (XFA Testers). The alpha group is getting the raw updates that may or may not break the arcade on their site and the beta group is getting the updates a few days or so later if the alpha group wasn't able to break anything.
