LOL! That line is too funny! I've never heard of anyone saying that before, then again that's not generally a topic I poke my nose into. But too funny I must say!

“So last night got me thinking about... kids”
“Kids?” She asked.
“Well yeah... I mean you want to have kids right?”
“Of course.” She smiled. “I was thinking maybe like two – a boy and a girl... maybe three; I don’t know”
“Sounds perfect” he smiled.
“But I think we should wait a while...”
“Of course – we need more practice” He grinned as he grabbed her waist tighter.

Get's to the point quickly doesn't he? Wow, after the first time he's talking kids...crazy! But the more practice part, sounds like a guy!

Great update but with only two chapter left I'm kind of sad. Can't wait to see what else you share with us.

awwww. i love it. Syd n Molly got to catch up, which is good. they needed some time to talk. and i love Syd n Michael talking about having kids. their kids would be soooo adorable.

Chapter 51
Then Sydney went and took the longest shower she had ever taken in her life. When she was finished she felt much cleaner. As she was dressing she took a good look at herself in the mirror. She was thinner than she remember which meant she looked very boney. She could see all her ribs down her side and back. Her collar bone stuck out plainly and her face looked slightly sunken. She couldn’t believe what a difference six months had made in her physical appearance. But then she realized that six months was actually a very long time.

“I want to be with you” she whispered. Michael looked at her with a perplexed expression but she just kissed him again.
“Syd...” He sighed.
“What’s wrong? Don’t you want to?” She asked.
“God yes of course I do but... are you sure?” He asked. She smiled and kissed him again. Then she stood up off his lap and untied the robe she was wearing and let it float to the floor. He looked at her somewhat shocked because she only had on underwear.
“I’m sure” she said. She smiled at him as he stood up the couch and lead her into his bedroom.

“Of course. I was just laying here trying to remember why exactly I had waited that long. If I had known... well let’s just say I wouldn’t have waited...” She smiled. He smiled back and kissed her softly.

“What?” Sydney asked indignantly.
“Yes you totally did!” Molly laughed. Sydney blushed slightly. “Ha I’m totally right!”
“How did you know that?” Sydney asked.
“It’s my gift” Molly shrugged.
wow, some gift indeed!! so funny she knows that!

“Yeah kinda” She cringed. “I mean it wasn’t bad... just different” She laughed as she buried her face in her hands.
“That’s ok it gets better I swear” Molly smiled.
“Thanks” Sydney laughed.

ok we have some good news here people - it looks like i will *probably* be able to finish Learning to Love tonight which MEANS that if i finish it tonight i will post it after EIW ends tuesday (meaning i'd be posting Learning to Love on Wednesday)

second to last chappy:
Chapter 53
Shortly after Sydney’s return Michael officially announced their engagement to everyone and then as it was tradition they had a ball to celebrate.
“Now since there is only one week until the ball,” Michael told Sydney “you are sort of pressed for time to find a dress.”
“Oh I forgot that I had to get one...” She sighed.
“Not a problem. A designer has agreed to spend the whole day with you today making the perfect gown.”
“Really? A designer?” She asked.
“Yes” he laughed.
“Okay” She smiled.

“Miss Bristow welcome I’m Franco” A colorfully dressed man greeted her when she arrived at the designer boutique.
“Hi” She said shyly.
“We are so thrilled that you chose our line to wear at your engagement ball. It will truly be the social event of the season” He giggled.
“Yeah...” She sighed.
“So can I get you anything? Water? Champagne?”
“No I’m fine thanks” She smiled.
“Very well than shall we just get started?” He asked. Sydney nodded. “Ok well first we’ll take some measurements and then you can look through the different dress styles and pick a patter... or did you already have an idea in mind?”
“No” Sydney shook her head.
“Well that’s ok... now if you could just hold your arms out we can get these measurements done.” Franco grinned. Sydney removed her coat and did as she was told. She couldn’t imagine the number of measurements that were being taken. When Franco was finally finished he took Sydney into a room full of hundreds of dresses on hangers. She felt completely overwhelmed because most of the dresses were so gorgeous that she had no idea which one to chose.
“Um... would you mind helping me?” She asked Franco nervously.
“With what dear?” he asked.
“I don’t know what dress would be appropriate... I mean I’ve never been to a ball before...” she sighed.
“Oh” Franco giggled joyously. “Of course. Now you want something classic and elegant but something that shouts ‘this is me!’”
“Okay” Sydney laughed.
Almost an hour of searching later Sydney found the perfect dress. It was a red, one shoulder gown with glitter accents. Franco spent a bit more time altering the dress so it fit perfectly.
“Do you have shoes that will go with this?” Franco asked her
Sydney shook her head.
“Well I suggest a red sandal – something really sexy” He grinned.
“Okay” she laughed.

“So did you find a dress?” Michael asked her while they were eating dinner that evening.
“Yup.” She smiled.
“Well what does it look like?”
She shook her head. “You’ll have to wait and see.”
“Well at least tell me what color it is.”
“It’s red” She smiled.
“Ooo I can’t wait to see” he grinned.

“Hey Molly I have something for you” Sydney smiled when she went up to Molly the next day.
“What?”
“An invitation to my engagement party” Sydney said.
“What?” Molly gasped.
“Yup you’re coming.”
“No!” She gasped.
“Yes” Sydney laughed. “You can wear one of my dresses”
“Really?” Molly asked excitedly.
“Yes” Sydney laughed as Molly hugged her tightly.

Awww, how exciting! An engagement ball. It so cute that Syd invited Molly to the ball. Can't wait to see the next chapter and the ending to this fic! Also, for your new fic on Wednesday.. great work!
