OMV she had a girl this was just so totally amazing and I 'm so happy that Jack was there when his grandaughter was born But it must have been really hard for Vaughn to live with both Syd and Irina for months poor guy

Now that their baby girl is born, I hope Syd and Vaughn can move out of Irina's home, Syd will start showing some respect for her husband, and Vaughn won't feel his life is the seventh level of Hell in Dante's Inferno.

Ok I have a bone to pick with Janet ... you know I love you so dont take this as a attack ... but whats with the girls ... I dont think I have ever read a fic of your where Syd and Vaughn had a boy ??? whats with that ??? I mean I know in 'In My Life' that had a boy but that was like in the last chapter ... ok thats the end of my little rant

OMV! Vaughn's description of living with a mother- in -law terrorist and a pregnant wife was just hilarious! Syd in labor was just funny. Potty mouth much? They have a baby girl? That's great, but I was kind of hoping for a boy for Michael. Maybe next time.

Thanx for the pm! She had the baby!!! eek. so now it is...spy baby? :lol: hahaha...sorry. I cracked my self up and I haven't a clue why. well great update. I would be scared if I was around syd too! she was dropping f bombs!!!! I would run for my life! :lol:
Ugh, I’m exhausted but I haven’t held my baby yet and I refuse to sleep without holding her. The doctor just left so where is Vaughn? I call for him and he appears in the doorway momentarily. “Hey.” I smile as I look at the bundle of blankets in his arms. He walks over to me and hands me the baby. As I look down at her I know immediately that I’m in love with her. She’s the most precious thing I’ve ever seen in my life. “Isn’t she pretty?” I coo at Vaughn.
“Yeah.” He says softly as he sits on the bed next to me and kisses my forehead that’s still slightly damp. “Just like her Mommy.”
“Do you think her eyes will be green?” I ask him, hoping that they are.
“I dunno.” He says. “We’ll have to see. Have you thought of any names yet? I mean I know we talked about it before but now that she’s here...”
“Yeah.” I sigh. “I like Abigail.”
“Abby.” He smiles. “I like that. We should use Anne for her middle name.”
“Yeah?” I smile. He nods. “Abigail Anne. I like that.”

Time passes quicker when you have a baby, I swear it does. One day you’re cradling them in your arms and rocking them to sleep and the next you’re chasing them around the house, trying to get them to put down Grandma Irina’s antique sais that were stashed under the couch. Yeah totally happened; it was awful. But now the house is weapon free (thank god) and toddler proofed.
That’s right, our little Abby is three years old today. Jack’s here and he hasn’t been here for almost a year too so he was really shocked to see how big she’s gotten. But we’re all sitting around the big dining room table singing happy birthday. Yeah, we’re one big happy family, sorta.
Great, Abby just stuck her whole fist in the cake, oh well. It’s cute so I snap a picture. Syd grabs a napkin and cleans her hand off as Jack takes the cake away from her now that the candles are all blown out.
Jack cuts the cake and hands everyone their pieces as we all settle into random chit chat mostly about Abby.
“I think it’s time.” Jack says finally.
“Time for what?” Sydney asks.
“The Covenant is gone; taken down last week.” Jack tells us.
“Really!?” Sydney and I gasp in unison. Jack nods proudly.
“So wait, what does this mean?” I ask curiously.
“Well... I guess... you could come home.” Jack says cautiously, glancing at Irina who looks down at her plate.
Home. What is that anyway? I don’t think I know anymore. I know that Sydney and Abby are my home now but... lately this has become my home. I mean we’ve lived here for over three and a half years now, it’s like home. I mean if we left I’d... oh god. I was almost going to say I’d miss Irina... Jesus, what’s wrong with me? Ok, ok, I’d miss her a little bit.... well, I’d miss the pancakes. Alright, I give, if we remove the fact that she killed my father she’s actually a very nice person. There I said it, erm... thought it. Don’t tell anyone.
I look at Sydney who’s looking back at me. We never talked about what would happen when this ended. We took it day by day but now...

-Sydney-
Vaughn’s looking at me curiously. I don’t know what to say; neither does he. “We’ll talk about it.” I say finally. Vaughn nods in agreement. Yeah, talk about it.
It’s late by the time I’m able to get Abby to bed. All that cake made her hyper. Mental not to self: only give the child one piece, not three. Vaughn is sitting up on our bed waiting for me.
“So...” he says.
“Yeah.” I sigh as I sit down next to him, resting my head on his shoulder.
“Do you wanna go back?” He asks.
“Do you?” I counter.
“Well... I kinda miss Weiss.” He sighs.
I laugh. “Aww you miss your best friend, that’s so cute.”
“Well it’s been almost five years.”
At that comment I stop. My god, has it really been that long? “Five years...” I exhale.
“Yeah, it seems like forever.”
“What would we do if we go back?” I ask. I really don’t know the answer to that one.
“Turn ourselves in to the CIA I suppose so we can get our identities back. Kendall is gonna be sooooooo pissed at us. He might take us into custody.” Vaughn sighs.
I know he’s right and that scares me. “What about Abby?”
“I don’t know.” He sighs.
We sit in quiet for a few minutes before we both come to the same conclusion but neither of us say anything. We need to go back.
We’re going back.
