Seems like there is a gag order on the Alias set. -_- No pics, no news, nothing. Just all rumors. :angry:

At least, the wait is only a little over a month. I don't know if the whole Aliasverse would have survived if S5 started in January.

Geez...no set news??? I wonder which episode they're at...and yes, everyone does seem to be on a gag order. We need to find a reliable, loose-liped insider to tell us the goods!

You know, if I remember correctly, there was a poster in the original Gartan threads who had a friend who worked as a key grip in the Alias set. I can't remember the name but I know she used to post Alias set stories from her friend.

ETA: Thanks, Charrise. I like the previous av too but since we were talking about boxer Vaughn earlier, it was time to change the av.

Yep, it's been 10 days since we saw MV. We're all having withdrawals.

ETAA: There's an small MV mention in TC's column about a party (Midsummer Night's Dream I think) at the Playboy mansion.

I read somewhere that they will show a few episodes of Alias starting in Sept., but then they will go on a semi-hiatus and be back in January. I don't remember where I saw that, but I'm pretty sure it's one of the Alias boards.

Did I ever tell you guys that one of my friend's boyfriend was on ALIAS? He was the guy inside the van with them on WTLV...not the main bad dude, but the one that was on the computer checking their identities...

ETA: I watched the S3 blooper reel after finding the smoking MV scene. MV does have a long tongue. :lol:

It's actually a funny story. My friend (who i met in school)...she and I were talking about Hollywood and how Americans are really into the lives of the famous people. She's originally from Finland, so she didn't understand the attraction and curiosity people have on the lives of public icons. Her boyfriend, funny enough, is an actor and she was talking about how difficult the business is and how you never know when you're going to catch a break. I told her that I'm not really obsessive or curious about famous people's lives...EXCEPT for JG and MV. I then cautiously told her about my slight ALIAS obsession (i didn't want to scare her off). That's when she told me that her boyfriend had a small part on ALIAS and she was describing the scene to me and I giddily squeeled out the episode title. She just looked at me and started laughing. I asked her if Thomas (that's her bf's name) said anything about the show.

She said that he told her that they were filming the scene at ungodly hour and that JG and MV were constantly nodding off and then were forced to look alert and nervous at the same time and that it was funny to watch them in 'acting' mode. He had also mentioned how JG and MV would lean their heads on each other and steal quick naps between takes.

I was just so smitten when she was telling me that story. Thomas had told her that after his filming and he'd have no reason to fabricate his account, so when my friend told me that, I just thought it was the cutest thing!

Yeah, MV likes putting his tongue out. I think there's another one in the asst. dir. feature. It appeared in the director's monitor.

ETA: Thanks for sharing that. You know, they are probably working double time on set and filming as much as they can before JG gives birth. There was a pic link posted in the Jen thread of JG's appearance at The Bros. Grimm premiere.
