Why are ALL Australian TV channels retarded? Why?

1. Channel Seven screws around with Alias.
2. Channel Nine cancels Gilmore Girls mid-season. AGAIN.
3. And Channel Ten appears to have cancelled Veronica Mars.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? These are award winning shows! Shows that have won awards!

But still, amidst all the cancelling of Emmy-nominated shows, our kind TV programming departments manage to give us such gems as Dancing with the Stars, Big Brother, Border Security, Australia's Funniest Home Videos, The Biggest Loser and Friday Night Games.

I feel so priveliged.

and has anyone notcied that there are a hell of a lot of shows being host by Bert Newton like seriously...!!!....they are all quiz shows.....

OMG :rotflmao: REALLY? I didn't bother to watch this week. Last week was so pitiful I've given up. Perhaps if they can redeem themselves I'll watch it again! They just tried way too hard to be funny, and it wasn't. The best comedy is unplanned and unintentional, like Merrick and Rosso or The Glass House. Those shows are funny felgercarb!

I think I watched like the first 30 minutes of that show, before I came to the conclusion that I must have fallen asleep about 6 times in that half hour period. Doesn't bode well for the remainder of the series :mellow:

You know what, I read something in the paper, it must have been about a month ago... they wanted people to write in and say what they thought was the most useless show on television. Apparently Tyra Banks or something has a show in the US about that stuff... and you know the show that came to mind? Border Security. HOW FREAKIN USELESS IS THAT SHOW?

I get bored actually walking through security at airports, not to mention watching other people do it. The dumbest thing about security at airports, is that my Dad can walk through security with a pen... but he has to take his shoes off, because "over 90% of shoes have a metal strip in the sole" WHOOP DI FRIGGIN DOO BAZ!! Who the hell cares about that? Dad was about to stab the security woman in the eye with his pen before I dragged him away. He's very passionate about this sort of thing :blink:

I remember when i went with a group of friends to New Caledonia my friend got stopped at every single metal detector but in each one it was a different thing that set em off!
Oh and they made me get rid of my emery board (it wasnt even a metal nail file) and a sharpener! A SHARPENER!!
But still these boring custom happenings are STILL more exciting than Border Security!!
And i mean seriously who is goin to tear apart their shoe for a tiny strip of metal, there is no concievable way that it could b a weapon!
