As Michael slowly walked up the stairs he began untying his tie and loosening his shirt collar. “STOP IT!” He heard Olivia screech.
“Alex.” Michael warned.
“Daddy!” Olivia said as she ran from her room and barreled right into her father. Michael noticed that she had tears streaming down her cheeks.
“What happened?” Michael asked.
“Alex found an alien mark on my arm.” Olivia sniffed.
“A what?” Michael asked.
“An alien mark from when the aliens dropped me off.”
Michael was utterly lost. “Sweetie, the aliens didn’t drop you off.”
“But look at the mark!” Olivia whined as she pointed to the back of her arm.
“That’s a mole. Everybody has them. They are not alien marks.” Michael assured her.
“Okay.” She sniffed. Michael kissed her cheek before walking to Alex’s room and poking his head in.
“Stop telling her she was dropped off by the aliens.”
“Yeah ok.” Alex grumbled without taking his eyes off his computer. Michael sighed as he went into his bedroom and began to change his clothes.
