hehe absolutly wonderful episode for anyone who cared. I actually don't hate Addison as much as I thought I would. She's going to bring some interesting dynamics to the show. ^_^

i'm about halfway through. burke is such an unbelievable dick and i love that!e the rivalry between burke and heper. i wouldn't hate addison so much if she didn't go so far out of her way to make people hate her.

so it finished. i love this show forever. and so, i must go on and on about how i felt about the eppy.
first off, as much as i liked the music of the episode and can't wait to get my hands on the soundtrack, i missed the theme song.
i cannot believe burke at all. that f***. before it got messy my ass.
i adore cristina. we all have emotions (even if dr burke wants to be a f*** and pretend he doesn't) and i'm glad that she's showing hers. and i'm glad meredith is her "person." and yes i'm even glad she is giving up the baby, because babies ruin shows *cough*alias*cough*
okay so i had read spoilers and knew addison had cheated, but it was a really really good way to show it. the whole "dr grey is the victim here." and i guess i don't hate her that much. she's not even very fun to hate.
i liked that they set up the izzie/alex futrue relationship, because obviously they are going to get together. i like alex as a dick but who doesn't deserve the title evil spawn.
i love george. he's in love with meredith. he got the thing so joe could keep his bar. he beat up alex. he couldn't tell the chief everything that went on. he's awesome.
i'm so so so f***ing glad meredith said it wasn't enough. because it wasn't, and usually tv shows ignore that and put the two good-looking people together no matter what. so i like that it is going to take a while. i understand that she is pissed and hurt and i think they do a really good job showing that she is pissed and hurt. and the whole "it was like i was drowning and you saved me"? please. gag me. but he still is really hot.

I LOVE GEORGE I love him more than words can express. And I can't help but love Alex. He's just...I don't know. HOT. And! Izzy is so hot for him ^_^

I feel bad for Derek He looked so frustrated in the end. And when he was saying how we walked in on his wife...he just needed some loving. And i was more than willing to provide it *sigh*

Cristina :lol: Her morning-sickness cracks me up. But the "break-up" if you may, was sad. They both didnt want it. -_-

I hate the chief. He's what's wrong with everyone. Making George a sponge and bugging the hell out of him. Screwing with Derek, and saying stuff to Burke making him break up with Crisitna :hmm:

I was happy for Joe. Did NOT though like the sick pregnant women. First of all, it's because of her that Addison is here, and THEN she's talking to Meredith like she's a sl**. :angry: I just kep telling myself that she's stressed cause shes' pregnant and sick.

Can't wait for next week. *sigh*

I'm glad too, and I do hope she doesn't get cold feet about it because going through with it will bring something GREAT to the show. I would love it if Burke finds out RIGHT after she gets the abortion. Oh what a scene that will be.

I absolutely, completely this show.

Ellen Pompeo's acting in the previous 9 episodes wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special. I think she did a great job in tonight's ep. When she yelled at McMarried (sooo his new name until Addison goes away), there was really a lot of bitterness and betrayal in her voice. Then when he was explaining the whole cheating situation towards the end, she melted, then shrugged it off and told him "that's not good enough." At first, I was mad that she drove away... then I thought about it, and that's exactly what I would have done. He can't get off that easy.

I don't hate Addison... at least, not full-out hate, the way I hated Lauren (Alias, s3, how can we forget?). I definitely don't LIKE her, but the way she kind of snapped at her pregnant patient who was giving Meredith s*** was interesting. Meredith just TOOK it, probably because she felt so much like the "other woman" that she deserved it (also because she's an intern and would probably get in trouble for telling off a patient). Mere and Addison are potentially foils - characters that are intentionally complete opposites.

George. I heart George. The way he put the umbrella over Meredith and wouldn't let her drive home drunk. Then when he was stumbing over words like he usually does while they were looking at the babies. Such a cutie. And the way he researched for so long, looking for a way to help Joe the bartender out. Nice guy. And the whole thing with Webb... "I'm an investigative sponge."

Burke... well, I'm not so fond of Burke right now. I'm not sure Burke is so fond of Burke now either, though. When Webb told him that they're alike, that's why he chose Burke as the interim chief, something seemed to have snapped inside Burke. He broke it off with Cristina because that's what he was supposed to do, but was it what he wanted? Maybe he'll decide that he doesn't want to be Chief, after all. He and Cristina are so much alike, it's kinda scary. I don't see anything ever starting back up again between them though, 'cause that's not the type of person Cristina is. She's not gonna go back to a guy who made her feel so much like felgercarb.

Meredith and Cristina's scene at the end was so good. "You do realize this constitutes hugging?" "Shut up. I'm your person." It's like Cristina's never had a close gal pal before.

But I think the character of the episode was definitely Meredith.

yeah i'm not really thinking so. cheating on someone is a big big big no in my opinion. at least when you are married. and the cliched best friend part was...well, cliched, but it still sucked.

No, I dont' think anyone can really hate hate Addison, she's there, and she's the evil cheating wife but she's still... a person. I don't think Addison and Meredith will be foils, I actually think they might become very much alike. They are both very passionate about their job, they both talented, and I think the main difference between them is that Meredith is still very impressionable while Addison is a great doctor in her own right so she is more authorative and she's might be actually a "stronger" person than Derek... okay i'm rambling now... so I"ll stop. :mellow:

i think ellen pompeo acted well even before this episode. but this was her breakout moment. she did so well showing all the emotions. i mean, she was pissed and hurt and touched all in the span of one hour. and "that's not good enough" was perfection.

I just love this show... I'm in Australia and we are just finishing the first series... But i couldn't wait so i read the spoilers.... Oh well... I, too, am glad that Meredith didn't just take him back. At least now we'll see how much they mean to each other.... I think Derek is going to have to do alot of work to get Meredith back... (I love derek... he is soooo hot!)
