Season 5 Did Irina really kill Bill Vaughn?

Irina killing Vaughn's father never made a whole lot of sense to me. THey still have never really fully explained it. Now that we know what Bill Vaughn was up to, it's possible that Irina didn't really kill him - or at least these "Prophet Five" people are actually responsible for his death, maybe Irina carried it out or she was working with him or something. Irina has never denied that she killed him, but she also is not one that comes right out with the truth (it took her awhile to tell Sydney why she shot her, and to tell her that she regretted leaving her when she was so little). She likes to size up situations and THEN come out with the truth. I wonder if they will address it?

well she said to Vaughn in season 2 "how do you say thank you to the woman who killed your father?" i'd say that's a straight up confession.

Okay as I understand it and you all know this, Irina Derevko was a KGB spy and ASSASSIN. eRGO she killed Bill Vaughn because she was told to do it. However, M. Micheaux (Michaux, Michaud) was involved in Prophet 5 and when others in the group started to die mysteriously, he joined the CIA to hide and took on a new identity.
However when is the question, because in Season 3, we were told that she killed him because he refused to tell her where he hid Nadia. So, what can we believe? The writers need to get their facts straight. They drive me crazy.
