[The two agents walk into Vaughn's office.]
Weiss: Oh, right. Hey, wait. Which key is to the front--where are you going?
Vaughn: That's the top lock, that's the bottom lock. I'm going to Bogota. Give him a can of the dog food that's on the floor of the cupboard and half a can of the dry stuff.
Weiss: What's in Bogota?
Vaughn: [ignoring Weiss] But only a half of a can. There's a bag of the dry stuff next to the canned stuff.

Maybe Vaughn got rid of his dog (or something happened to it) during the two years Sydney was missing. Maybe Lauren killed him or something. She certainly didn't seem like a dog person.

we did actually c donovan once. in epsiode three, season 1 'parity' the scene wer syd n vaughn meet at the bench, vaughn is holding a dog lead n when the camera pans out u can see a dog sittin by his leg

I personally think Donovan is long gone, because the last time Vaughn mentioned Donovan was in Season 1. That was 4 seasons ago, then add in 2 years Sydney was gone. So that's at least 6 years. We never did see the dog when he was living with Lauren. So I don't think the dog is around anymore.

Exactly the dog IS Prophet 5 Vaughn's love for his dog surpasses anything he feels for Sydney or his child. Women come and go but pets...ARE ETERNAL!

I think vaughn's dog is a bull dog. They showed him in the episode parity(i think it was that episode).

I think Donovan is a name you would give a pit bull or a great dane, or some type of a large doggy, don't you think? I always pictured Vaughn's dog as a BIG MEAN PROTECTIVE dog. Hey, it's Vaughn's dog! What do you expect!

Weiss has a dog too! He talks about it to Vaughn in the episode were Vaughn and Sydney goes to dinner in France. I think the name of the dog was "Alan".

donovan could be long gone, but 6 years is only a fraction of a dog's life. he could still be around. now im sad...i wanna know where he is...
