THAT my friends, was an Alias episode. Action, missions, humor, emotion, intrigue, QUESTIONS, continuity, and some great twists.
First off, I totally dug the opening mission in Rome. THAT'S THE WAY Alias missions should go this season. Sydney in disguise, getting a code or something, and SOMEONE ELSE (mainly Dixon, Tom, or Renee) doing the physical work and fighting. Everything flowed beautifully. And yes I did jump when I saw her profesor. I did NOT see that coming!! Oh and Renee kicks a**
When Sloane told Jack about Dean, I also was celebrating. You gotta love Jack/Sloane alliances. There ain't nothing better!
Rachel wasn't annoying! Tom had great lines! Jack wasn't ignored! Dixon was involved! WOOT!
The racetrack mission was just heart pumping. I loved the music, it was so suspenseful. I loved Tom's accent and how they took out the guards. Syd was great too! Rachel held her own and I feel that THAT'S her place. Being with Marshall in the truck, setting trackers, etc. Fighting isn't her thing. But even her little squabble with dean was understandable. But great suspense in that mission!
The only thing that turned me off was how they turned Dean. What a load of felgercarb. I hated it when they tried something weird with brain waves with the Sloane Cloane, and I hated when they used that whacked out music on Dean. It was unneeded. They could have just injected him with a drug that had that same effect. It would have been more believeable. And Sydney comforting him didn't rub me the right was either.
^Even so, WHAT a scene that was, with Dean slowly unraveling Prophet Five. The Watchmen? Huh? SO MANY QUESTIONS!
What a cool Seattle mission too! Anyone catch the Grey's Anatomy reference? I loved how Sloane had his own agenda, trying to please that man so that he would cure Nadia and how it conflicted with opening doors to Prophet Five. Alias is best when there's a conflict of interests like that. And officially: Sloane is creepy again.
NADIA! How I have missed your voice! How great was that scene when she regained her symptoms again? I felt for Sloane. And Syd. And my little hot Nadia. LOL
YES!!! YES!!! Continuity! Those questions in "Mockingbird" really did mean SOMETHING! And WHOA. What is Prophet Five? GOVERNMENT INSIDERS? Wow. How. Cool!
LMFAO to that ending. Jack is my hero. You cannot go wrong with Jack.
All in all. That episode was AWESOME!
