What is everybodies Favorite Movie Alien?

Which Alien in movies scare the felgercarb out of you? Which one is totally lame?

And of course which movie alien do you think really looks like what is out there in real life?

the 'alien' alien freaks me out. (the one what pops out of your belly)
honorable mention, the Faceless Rebels from X-files. (FR would make a great name for a rock group imho)

can't think of anything particularly lame at the moment.

An "alien" movie that was scary for me....The Fourth Kind. Even though I knew that the human cases were bogus, the film played upon the idea about "what if" the aliens that were mentioned by our ancient ancestors returned. And these beings were aggressive and demon-like. The realism of people freaking-out from encountering these unearthly beings would be pretty close to what would happen if we really knew that these beings had diabolic intentions.

What is loosely based on reality is far more frightening then any fictional creation from Hollywood.

A "lame" alien film. Well there are quite a few to choose from, so I'll pick one..........The Pod People (1983). A very boring "alien" flick.

Perhaps I'm a little biased but I loved the Martians in George Pal's War of the Worlds!

There is only one alien scene which has ever freaked me out a bit; the 'head' spider in John Carpenter's The Thing. I can watch horror movies without blinking an eye but that scene still gets me a bit.

Which one is totally lame?
For anybody old enough to remember the 80's, that would be "Mac" from Mac and Me. It was a poor attempt to cash in on the popularity of E.T. at the time.

Well, if we're going to get invaded all I ask is that they look like Mathilda May from Lifeforce.

I would normally say the alien from the Aliens franchise but as I some people have already mentioned it I'll say the aliens from Pitch Black.

As for a totally lame alien, I didn't like the E.T. alien.

I went to see 'Alien' when it first came out, I thought that 'Alien' was bloody terrifying. I still think it's the scariest. Although the critter from 'The Thing' (the Kurt Russel version) and the 'Predator' are pretty scary too.

When it comes to my "Favourite" alien, it has to be the new enhanced 'Ripley' from 'Alien Resurrection'. Cute, powerful, lightning reflexes, and with concentrated acid for blood. Wow!

I'm surprised we haven't seen the 'The Chronicles of the new Ripley'. Very surprised indeed.

I would have to say the Alien Queen from Aliens is the ultimate scariest 'alien' in sci-fi. Again, The Thing as well as old school Tripods from War of the Worlds.

Lame - Grant from Slither, I love the film though, has some of the best movie quotes in it
