Title: Godzilla Island

Genre: Sci-Fi & Fantasy

First aired: 1997-10-06

Overview: Godzilla Island was a television show spinoff of the Godzilla franchise. It premiered on October 6, 1997, and ran for a total of 256 three-minute episodes, finishing on September 30, 1998. The series was divided into 22 different stories (Sagas). Set in 2097, most monsters live on an island out in the Pacific Ocean. The creatures living on the island include: Godzilla, Godzilla Junior, Mothra, Battra, Rodan, King Ghidorah, Mecha-King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Anguirus, Gigan, Hedorah, SpaceGodzilla, Destoroyah, Baragon, King Caesar, Moguera, Megalon, Gorosaurus, Kamacuras, Jet Jaguar, and Dogora. An unusually large number of tie-in toys were produced for this series by Bandai toys, because this series was, in fact, created through the use of action figures. A CD of theme music, mostly composed by Akira Ifukube was released in 1997 by Polygram entitled 'Welcome To Godzilla Island'. In 2007, a 4-disc DVD set including every episode of the show was released in Japan at a price of 16000 yen.

Godzilla Island (ゴジラアイランド, Gojira Airando) is a television show spinoff of the Godzilla franchise. It premiered on October 6, 1997, and ran for a total of 256 three-minute episodes, finishing on September 30, 1998.

Set in 2097, most of Earth's kaiju (monsters) live on an island out in the Pacific Ocean called Godzilla Island, which is monitored by G-Guard. The creatures living on the island include Godzilla, Godzilla Junior, Mothra, Mothra Leo, Rodan, Fire Rodan, King Ghidorah, Mecha-King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla (the Heisei version), Anguirus, Gigan, Hedorah, Destoroyah, Baragon, King Caesar, Moguera, Megalon, Battra, SpaceGodzilla, Gorosaurus, Kamacuras and Jet Jaguar. Torema and Zaguresu's kaiju (or monsters) include a black-coloured Mechagodzilla (the Showa version), a fully mechanical King Ghidorah (called Hyper-Mecha King Ghidorah), a new version of Hedorah (called Neo Hedorah), Kumasogami (named Dororin in the series), Jigora (a species of kaiju from Torema's home planet that looks like pallette swaps of Godzilla Junior), a powered-up version of SpaceGodzilla, a different version of Fake Godzilla, Proto Moguera (Which resembles the original Moguera from The Mysterians) and Gororin (a sentient ball-shaped cactus). One kaiju that did not appear in a Godzilla movie, a miniature version of Dogora, also appears for a few episodes, working with Zaguresu. For unknown reasons, Kumonga, Ebirah, Varan, Manda, the Showa Mechagodzilla, Titanosaurus, King Kong, Gabara, Minilla, Biollante, Oodako, Ookondoru, and Shockiras were not included. None of the Showa- or Heisei-era kaiju from Toho's other non-Godzilla movies appear in this series either.

The series is notable for its almost-exclusive use of action figures to portray the kaiju rather than suitmation.

Plot:
In 2097, most of the world's monsters have been rounded up and are living on an island in the south pacific dubbed Godzilla Island. The kaiju are kept content on their island home, and are monitored from the G-Guard base in the center of the island. There, the G-Guard Commander watches and monitors the monsters day after day, with only the spherical robot Lucas by his side. However, the monotony of the job and of the monster's lives comes to an abrupt end when a gigantic UFO arrives on Earth. Inside is the Xilian Zaguresu, who, under the command of her leader, the Giant Dark Emperor, is hell bent on taking over the planet, starting with Godzilla Island. However, as her ship arrives on and begins to attack the island, a smaller ship arrives and defends the island, the monsters, and the base. As the Commander and Lucas scratch their heads, perplexed by this new turn of events, a young woman suddenly appears in the base. She introduces herself as Torema, and says she has come to help defend the island from Zaguresu's onslaught. However, the three heroes have a long road ahead of them, as the evil Xilians have an entire army of monsters at their disposal, and more than a few surprises to boot. It will be up to the Commander, his daughter Misato, Torema, Lucas, and the horde of monsters living on Godzilla Island to defend their home, and the world, from the coming invasion.

In 2097, most of the world's monsters have been rounded up and are living on an island in the South Pacific dubbed "Godzilla Island". The kaiju are kept content on their island home, and are monitored from the G-Guard base in the center of the island. There, Commander Besuke Jinguji watches and monitors the monsters day after day, with only the spherical robot Lucas by his side. However, the monotony of the job and of the monster's lives comes to an abrupt end when a gigantic UFO arrives on Earth. Inside is the Xilian Zagress, who, under the command of her leader, the Giant Dark Emperor, is hell bent on taking over the planet, starting with Godzilla Island. However, as her ship begins to attack the island, a smaller ship arrives and defends the island, the monsters, and the base. As the Commander and Lucas scratch their heads, perplexed by this new turn of events, a young woman suddenly appears in the base. She introduces herself as Torema, and says she has come to help defend the island from Zagres's onslaught.

Couldn't post this in Television because TMDb has no listing yet.
It is however, a real TV show series.
Perhaps you could move it with your God Powers and delete this reply?

First post updated. ;)

.... and I'm going down the rabbit hole of checking the usual streaming sites to see if this available anywhere or if an English dub DVD is available (I'm not sure I could watch 22 seasons of subtitles! 🤣).

You might not be able to find that.
This is a very obscure series of short films done with action figures.
Most about 3 minutes long.

Before you expend energy looking, perhaps you should just watch a few at Archive/org to see if its your cup of tea. I'm not interested in seeing it but I posted it for the Godzilla fans who are obsessed with Anything Godzilla.
