Music What Are You Listening To?

Russel Watson - Faith of The Heart

(I am such a sentimental geek. )

I'm listening to Morcheeba's latest cd, that is Dive Deep (feb 2008) All the songs are great!!! check it and tell me your opinion! (my favorite is "Washed away")
I'm digging that older track, Summertime, and the visuals in the video for Blue Chair. Washed Away caught me off guard because it sounds differently from the other tracks I listened to first but, yeah, it would make some great easy listening music.

The next time I'm over at the mall I may have stop off and see what they have. I could see myself sitting outside with the sun beating down listening to the album.

Oh by the way... if you know someone who thinks folk music is boring, please direct them to my website so they can see just what can happen when you leave it out overnight.

Listening to the Fate, the new album by Dr. Dog. Not bad.

Gotta say, I hate it when cool bands have stupid names. I sound like an idiot when I say something like, "Yeah, you should totally check out the new album by... uh... Dr. Dog." Or, "My favorite band? It's, uh... Neutral Milk Hotel."

The band name most likely to warrant looks of absolute disgust: Dogs Die In Hot Cars. :(

Jimi Hendrix - Are You Experienced

The 1993 Alan Douglas re-release (MCA 10893) had a chronological track list, starting with the first three UK singles A and B sides, (but replaced by the Reprise stereo mixes except for "Stone Free", "51st Anniversary" and "Highway Chile" which have never had a stereo mix) and then the original track list of the UK LP, (but replacing the mono cut of "Red House" with the later USA Smash Hits stereo version which came from a later session).

Oh by the way... I am performing May This Be Love on a 5 string banjo on my CD, available at CDBaby.com (check iTunes for digital download). You've never really heard Hendrix until you hear it on a banjo. ~shameless plug
