Have you ever seen the US Team play? They have one of the best women's goal keepers in the world. You obviously don't know what you're talking about.

I never said is wasn't at a higher level. I know men's is.
But Women's is as entertaining to watch and play. No matter what level.

I know, it's at a MUCH lower level, there is no woman who could ever play at professional male football level.
It's like watching a men's amateur footballgame, it can be interesting if your friends or relatives play in it.. or if it's your hometown team.. these are all the reasons I can think of, to watch it..
And I haven't seen the american goalkeeper enough to judge that.. but no I am amazed about how bad they play. And the last is not true..

Oh please....you're comparing men's and women's soccer AGAIN. They are different.

yeah dont got there mischa, coming from two women who play football we know its not to the same standard but the point is that it is still at a high standard, do you even play football at any kind of level?
Dont criticise something that you know nothing about, you may know a lot about mens football but womens football is completly different it may be slower but that becuase it is based more on skill then speed. Women may not be able to tackle as hard but they can still play a lot better then a lot of male football teams.

There is only one thing women may be better at than men; agility, but strenght>agility so they still don't get a chance. I think women football is highly overrated by you, let one of these best teams play against an English 3rd division men team.. i'm SURE the men can still win without any problems. They're much faster, play smarter, are stronger.. and have a LOT more shot power, leaving the female goalkeeper with no chance. Agent Verdi, these goalkeepers may seem decent in a women's game because they have no shot power, but you'll see how great they are when a man shoots at goal. Sorry to put your game down, but they can not play better than a lot of male football teams...

What you're basically saying is that Women have no business playing any kind of sports. Which angers me right there....since I play actually play soccer.
If the US team did play a D3 mens team, I'm sure they would lose. But it's not for lack of trying, they still have the skills and strength to play a full 90.
I honestly would love to see the US women's goalkeeper play in a men's game....I think you'd be highy surprised by how good she is.

And yea with their speed of playing you won't get tired really fast so 90 minutes isn't a problem really.

Okay it has been far too long since i have been in this thread.
well after a long month long break from footie we are back in the game and our team are strangely still winning. this is the 3rd game in a row that we've won now and we're just getting better and better. We started off with a 3-1 win, having only had 10 players in the whole second half as our stupid player/assistant manager went to cook her boyfriend dinner. (useless and uncommitted!!!) Then the following week we won 2-1 despite only having 10 plyers for the whole game. Thats 3 halves of football that we'd played with 10 men. and then this week, on sunday just gone, we beat our arcjh rivals, Hackney Women, who completely cheated us out of a win earlier in the season, 5-1. yes that's right 5-frickin'-1. we were so good, and off course i got man of the match again for being a great goalie. we are on a roll, though we will lose next week cos we have colne valley who beat everyone 10-0. they beat us 5-1, with only 10 players. AHHHHHHH!!!!

Screw Arsenal. they moan too much. :angry: I hope Utd whoop their arses at Highbury next month. agree that Chelsea are almost certain to win the title. it would be kinda cool if they won the quadruple this year. it'd be good for football.
