Fantasy Clash of the Empires

Was this the movie where the dubbing was completely different than the script? And the producers were trying to make arabic people appear to be evil pagan barbarians (instaed of Holy Muslim warriors)?

I always extremly dislike it when a race of people is dehumanized in film and the media.

People have forgotten that even the original Mickey Mouse was a racist (that's only one example from the past - Mel Gibson was approached once to lie about history and make a film about it with his seal of approval that it is all true, fortunately Mel told them to jump in the lake - that's when Hollywood turned against Mel).

They used small child actors (playing the Tree People) and dubbed over squeaky adult voices (probably from midgets)

As to the warriors, their lines went in one ear and out the other.

In fact the whole script did if I'm honest.

There was good CGI on one particular black/red spider at some point, but it may not have been CGI, more a giant teddy bear. It was good though

You know, Tim, the more you describe it, the more I want to see it now. :D

Just checked Netflix... not available yet. :(
