Does this company make the life-size original cylon too?
That'd be my choice as well.

... but there is no way I could even attempt to explain to my wife why I'm looking at spending $8K for a replica Cylon.

I could imagine you could reduce the bill considerably if you bought a licensed fancy dress suit, then a shop mannequin, and pair the two up on a polished base.
