I always wondered about the retro fit Enterprise. The scale of the rec deck, seemed larger than the actual width of the saucer section. I thought the saucer section g deck was a 1 deck affair. There is no room in the neck of the ship between the saucer and main engenering. I noticed the 60s ship saucer section was thicker than the retro fit also. I have Scotty's ship book for the retro fit.
