Eewwwww. Gross thong flash. I didn't even realize it until i saw that pic. :P

I LOVE WILL!!!! I love how he's such a good person inside. I thought he was all for SYD TO MYSELF!!! But he wasn't, he just wants syd to be happy. I LOVE YOU WILL!!! (y) :D ^_^

I LOVE MARSHALL EVEN MORE!!! He's so great. He sits there and works on "Echelon" for like 2 hours, and it turns out he's signaling SD-6, and making a pong game, and downloading MP3???? I love you. he's so cute. I squealed sooo many times in this ep. I loved (another thing that I love, I know) how Marshall said (after the pong popped up) "YOU KNOW WHERE YOU CAN GO? YOU CAN GO TO HE--!!", or something like that. I didn't know little Marshall had that in him. :woot: :woot: :woot:

I didn't know whether I liked the Jack standing up for Irena thing. I don't know. I think we can semi-trust Irena, but like Jack said before, Once you strat relying on this woman, she'll break you.... I think I agree.

I hated the coffee part, but how Irena did it was hilarious. She was typing rapidly and all of sudden she was like, I would like a cup of coffee. lol. I died. But I loved Vaughn's reaction. It was like, AWWW....do I HAVE to??? EEEEEEKKKK love him more than I love Will and Marshall. :woot:

Go SYD!!! She's like, I have a crush on a guy at work, he has a girlfriend, he's cute, he's smart, and stuff like I don't know how to explain him. YAY!! I love Michael. And i loved the smile before she told francie his name!!! eeeek! But poor Will, did you see his face??? I almost cried. :(

EWWWW. Now I hate Sloane EVEN more than I actually did before. I thought he would trust Jack more, but no. I guess not. I hate him. And I hate Ariana Kane even more. He looks like a ghost.

About the Alice thing, I just feel like nobody should hate her for her ignorance. It's not her fault that Michael wants to love a normal life, and she has no idea about the Syd/Vaughn situation. Don't get me wrong people, I'm a total Syd/Vaughn shipper, but hearing all the hate that Alice receives, I almost feel sorry for her... :(

UM, I dunno, I thought it was great. I loved dit mostly because of the Will line, and the Syd lines. Go Dixon!!! YAY! And go Michael. I love you. I thought it wasn't the best, but it was great. Maybe second to the best.

The only thing that i was absolutely disgusted by was the fact that Sloane didn't care about Marshall after they got the Echelon software. I know that's becasue he's a sick bastard, but still. I HATE him. You'd think that he would at least PRETEND to care for him to boost morale or something....

That thong-th-th-th-thong. If only Vaughn could see! My favorite quote from this episode would be..."My name is Marshal J. Flinkman and I'm here to save you life!" Very dashing.

OH and that Syd and Francie scene, two words: A Dorable. First time I ever saw Francie wear blue, hehe. Over all a lovely episode.

I loved it...and maybe that makes me silly, but i think everyone who said it sucked is reading into it way too much...ITS A TV SHOW!!! I LOVED IT!!! I'll admit ALIAS has gotten a little soap-opera-y but what do you expect...they are trying to get viewers here, and you have to admit the syd-mikey romance is heating up...Its juicy!!!! Take it for what it is, and just sit back and enjoy the show....you cant really enjoy it if you are analyzing it the whole time....(trying out for Tippins job eh??)
GO MARSHALL!! He is so funny, in a cute, hyperactive kind of way! AND I NEVER LAUGHED SO HARD AT THIS SHOW TILL MARSHALL SAID HE WAS HERE TO SAVE SYD!!!!

does anyone record these episides onto their computer, i usually download them from kazaa, but sometimes it takes like a week to get a good copy, and im usulally dying to see it again right away.

I pretty much agree with what everyone said here.

I loved the Syd/Francie scene. "I have a crush on this guy at work..." :woot: :woot: I was really happy when she finally admitted *out loud* how she felt about *Michael*!!!!! It was a classic moment.

I felt so sorry for Will when Francie told him about Syd's crush :( He looked so sad

I thought it was cool when Will was talking to Vaughn about Syd. I think Will is like her big brother: he really cares about her and he wants to protect her.

Marshal was great! The whole time I was thinking he was going to betray SD-6 and connect the other bad guys to Echelon. I thought it was halarious when the game came up! And then when he saved Sydney, it was awesome. "My name is Marshall J. Flinkman, and I'm here to rescue you!" :D It was great!

Dixon with dredlocks was funny! "It's time to party!" (I think that's what he says)

The coffee scene with Irina was super! I was so scared that she was going to betray the CIA! I don't want her to betray them although I think she will. I was sitting on my bed thinking 'No Irina! Not now!! Please No!!' I really thought this was going to be the time coz she smiled an evil smile when Syd told her they needed her help and that Jack fought for her. Did anyone else think it was an evil smile or was it just me?? Lena Olin is a really good actress!!

I hate Sloane 10 times more than I hated him before, even when he 'killed' Emily. He is such a jerk! I can't believe he called that Kane lady right after he told Jack, "We'll keep this between us" I hate Kane too! At first, when she and Jack first met, I thought she might have a little *thing* for him! (If she does, (which I no longer think she does) she has a really weird way of showing it!)

I don't hate Alice either. I wish she'd get out of the picture, though! She seems really nice so I can't hate her just coz Vaughn is going out with her.

Ollie ^_^

I loved this ep! :P

I also thought Irina's smile was kinda evil....I wonder why she wants access to Echelon. What is she up to?

I loved loved loved Syd's face when she said Michael!!!!!!

Only Marshall would line his jacket with a parachute.....classic Marshall!!

I agree with what everyone else said as well........
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I think this ep was amazing. Geez, the attention to detail concerning Jack's cover-up was amazing. I honestly thought that Ariana totally knew that the waiter took and replaced Jack's phone - instead, the writers do something sneakier - have the ink come off the chip!! Like I said - AMAZING - I totally did not see that coming.

I loved Dixon as a DJ - I couldn't even tell it was him until he started talking! I loved his line: "I speak 9 languages - techno isn't one of them!" Hehe How great was that? :D

I am really starting to respect Marshall - I've always adored him, but now I see that he's got a backbone as well, and he can fight against the bad guys just as well as anyone. Well, with different weapons though (PONG, for instance ;) ). And that parachute with the tandem sling is back! I didn't see that one coming, either, though I loved it: "My name is Marshall J. Flinkman and I'm here to rescue you!" ^_^

And Coffeeboy!Vaughn was hilarious! I started cracking up and couldn't stop for seriously like 10 minutes! And then after that, I felt kinda bad for him.... poor Michael, serving coffee to the woman that killed his father!! :( Man, could you imagine Kendall having to serve that woman coffee?

What else? THE SYD/FRANCIE SCENE!!! I love the way Syd just blurted it out: "I have a crush on a guy from work!" Hehe I was grinning like a fool....

Will, what a good guy - I haven't been a huge fan of him, but this season, I'm impressed. He really sees what's going on between Syd/Vaughn; he knows he can't have her, so he's looking out for Syd's best interests (getting them out of the bar, shaking V into reality). I am curious to see how he does as a part of the CIA...

And, lastly, I have to say that I am so incredibly PYSCHED for the next eppy! I loved the scene in the parking garage - "Dad, get in!" Hmmmm, have we see something similar to that before.....? :D And the new outfit - very... interesting... yes, interesting... And a date with Vaughn. Did you see him grinning? hehe *sigh* Could this show be any better?

Wow, that was so incredibly long! Sorry, but I LOVE ALIAS!!!!

~Laura :cat:

I loved this episode very well written.
Dixon was great as a DJ he looked like he was having fun hahaha.
I liked how will had that conversation with vaughn - he looked shocked when he said that but i know hes happy to hear how much SYD cares about him
Francie and syd- she was so excited when she finally told francie about about and quote-"michale"
jack is in some real trouble everyone seems to be against him.
...."My name is Marshall J. Flinkman and I'm here to save you life!" that was the best part marshall is soo funny.
(y) a thumbs up for this one :jump: :jawdrop: NEXT WEEK LOOKS EVEN BETTER!

I absolutely loved this ep. I'm not trying to offend anyone here, but I just don't understand the supposed 'lack of plotline.' The episode revolved around Echelon/Marshall and Jack's situation, and I definitely see those events as important to the show. I realize that the Echelon situation was resolved by the end of 'A Higher Echelon,' but that situation was an incredibly huge problem - I was on the edge of my seat the whole show. To be honest, I thought that Marshall would break down and give up the program; it was a huge boost for his character to have him overcome his fear and torture to score one for the 'good guys' (in his eyes, that is SD-6, but he also inadvertently saved the CIA by not allowing S&G to get the program).

I thought the Jack/Ariana conflict was great and I can't wait to see what happens in the next eppy. Their clash not only helped drive the show this episode, but it was also left unresolved, creating part of a plotline for the next episode as well. And adding to that, Sloane is now suspicious of Jack - though Sloane may soon realize that Jack did not kill Emily, he still may harbor his doubts for the rest of the season.

And as for the S/V ship: they did not have much interaction this episode, but the plot was still there. We saw that Syd is beginning to make an effort to open up to Francie, and of all things, she chose to talk about her 'crush.' Having Will find out and tell Vaughn has gotten things more out in the open, and I believe that Syd and Vaughn's knowledge about the other's feelings will change the nature of their relationship for the rest of the season.

So, I guess I believe that this episode not only had an excellent plotline, but it also has created problems that may continue throughout the season, and possibly for seasons to come. I think that 'A Higher Echelon' has developed some relationships (S/V, S/W, Jack/Sloane, and even S/F), and I believe that because of this episode, those relationships will never be the same as they once were. In my opinion, this episode not only ROCKED, but it has made crucial changes between some characters; the effects of these changes will be seen and felt in many episodes to come!!

There's what I think - if you don't agree, please don't hurt me!!!! :P

That ep. was great. (y) (y) Two thumbs way up there. (y) (y) OH YEAH!! The only reason that I didn't vote it as a 10 was because J.J. won't let me down in believing....scratch that....KNOWING that Alias gets better and better with each ep. But hey that's my point of view. Thong or now thong that ep was worth the wait through the Sound of Music from last week. I HATE that movie.

I just can't wait for next week, that ep is gonna be even better than this one.

Krazed :ninja:

Such a good ep!!

I definitly noticed the thong there too...lol...think Marshall saw??? LOL...he would've passed out...PONG! LOL. That was the greatest thing ever! He's the best.

Syd and Vaughn EEEEEEE...that was so exciting! Does anyone know exactly what Will said to him? My mom started talking to me..and I freaked out and missed half the scene and I was wicked mad at her...

Hate Sloane.

Previews look awesome..can't wait!

I forgot to say this before, but did anyone else think Syd looked really cute in her first getup, the business suit with her hair up? I don't know why, but I thought that was a really good look on her. The red outfit was okay (thong notwithstanding) but it sort of looked like a jogging outfit.

LOL..not going to hurt you...in fact I completely agree with you.

Syd and Vaughn now know that they each like each other...so their relationship is gonna deepen..and change now that the season is halfway thru (depressing isn't it?) and their going to dinner next week! Yay!

I completely agree with you too. I also agree with what Viogirl13 said.

I loved Dixon's disguise. I was like, "Is that Dixon? No, no. Wait! That IS Dixon! COOL!" when I first saw him in the disguise.

When Marshall was downloading the mp3 player and was playing that song I was luaghing. "Suit and Glasses" was looking at him like, "Huh? What are yuo doing?" It was also funny when Marshall told Syd "I'm here to save you", in the parachute scene too. I laughed hard. Syd was looking at him like she was surprised and like, "Okay...whatever you say." :sideroll:

When Irina was coming out to the computer everyone was staring at her and they looked so scared. They looked like," *gasp* it's her." he he he! that was funny.

I didn't get why it was important to tell Kane that Jack left Sloanes's house. I'm puzzled.

I thought it was neat that Syd told her feelings about Vaughn to Francie but it didn't seem like Syd. She just blurted out to Francie, "I have a crush on this guy at work." The "hot cute" part of the conversation was kinda...I can't explain it.

i loved this episode it was so well done.I agree with everybody else i love the marshal saves syd part i laughed so hard.

I loved Dixon's disguise. I was like, "Is that Dixon? No, no. Wait! That IS Dixon! COOL!"  when I first saw him in the disguise.
I SO AGREE WITH YOU

I liked the part when sydney just told francie about her big crush i loved that.
