ALIAS Book Signing in LA

I found out about this happening a week beforehand. I read that JG, MV, Merrin Dungey, Kevin Weisman, Bradley Cooper, J.J. Abrams, Ron Rifkin, Victor Garber, and possibly Carl Lmbly were gonna be there. I emailed Angie, another Alias-freak  who lives in LA and took us to the Jay Leno to meet JG. We worked it out to get up there, but the morning we were going to drive up to meet her, she called an said that they were giving out tickets, 25 to special people and 175 others only 200 in all, to get in to see the cast. That was at 9:30 a.m. and the tickets were going to start being given out at noon. Angie said she didn't think we'd make it, we should forget it, but I was ready to go and I was not going to give up. I told her we should go for it and we did. Well, on the way there, we took a wrong turn (at roughly 11:50 a.m.) and we were almost there. Can anybody guess what happened to make us not get there at noon?! We got into a minor car accident! Some lady drove in a PARKING LANE to get around traffic and hit us as we were turning left. Angie was in tears, but I was not going to give up til we got there and heard the words "There are no more tickets". Thankfully we got the accident taken care of in about 15-20 min because it was so small. So by then it was, what, 12:20? We found the place, went in and found out all the tickets were gone! But they had standby and we got like 212 thru 218 or sumthing. We also got red wigs :redhair: like Syd wears in "Truth Be Told". The cast was gonna be there at 8 so we got lunch and went back to Angie's to get ready. A couple of us wore all black and wigs, or tank tops with the wigs. We looked awesome! On the way back to the book store, as we drove by people, it was fun to see their reactions  Some just stared like we were psosiopaths (sp?), others laughed and smiled, and one guy did thumbs up like he knew who we were dressing up as-turns out he was an Alias fan too! So we got there around 7, finally got let into the place round 7:30 or so, and stood in line forever. We could hear people screaming when the cast walked in, and Merrin, J.J., and Kevin walked right by us to use the restroom, so we got pics of them!!!!!!! While waiting in line, we took pics of each other, got an Alias key chain and trading card that they were handing out. Angie's husband was able to join us and one time he goes "Oh yeah some young blond guy walked up the elevator a few minutes ago, and people were taking pictures with him" It was Sark, David Anders, who we didn't think was gonna be there! And we never saw him! We could have had pics with him! Well, we finally were able to get up to get there autographs!!! We were freaking out, couldn't believe we were actually going to meet the whole cast of Alias, our absolute fave show in the world!!!!!!!! :woot: :woot: They wouldn't let us take any pictures or let us give the cast the fan letters we had written  But we got all their autographs, and I shook all their hands except J.J.'s cuz I was so excited I forgot  They were all the nicest people, they all said thankyou for coming and Carl was especially happy because he wasn't sure if was going to be there. I couldn't think of anything to say til we had to leave them. Man, Michael and Bradley are HOT (y) (y) :woot: And they are so sweet too! Ron is really quiet and gentle, Carl just couldn't believe how many fans were there, that made him really happy  Kevin is cute, he had spiked hair. And when we were in line in front of the table waiting to go by them, we caught JG's eye and she did a thumbs up and said we looked great (cuz we had our red wigs on and were dressed up  ). We also got our pic taken by someone from ABC and it is on their website under Alias Book Signing (under the title "Girls just wanna look like Sydney") if any of u wanna check it out. We were also on Access Hollywood for about 2 secs ^_^ When we got outside, we went around to where their cars were parked and took pics as they left.
Ahhhh, what a day. Worth getting into an accident. If we had just forgotten about trying to get tix it never would have happened. I just prayed REALLY hard all day til it happened for good. :D
Well, there it is, my second meeting with JG, and first with the whole cast. If anybody had told me I would be meeting Jennifer Garner twice in the same year, I would have thought that was impossible. Stuff like this makes you say, in Patrick from Spongebob Squarepants words, "Life is good!". And it makes me thank God sooooooooooo much for all His goodness to me that I don't even deserve.

Man that was so good Caitlyn! I was going to write the same thing but you beat me to it! But I coudn't stay up til, 2:00 in the morning so I still have to write my rendition. For anyone else who read this too, I'm going to write my POV real soon so stay tuned!!! :D :redhair:

Awesome story! Gosh, I'da loved to have been there! And you girls look pretty and cool with those red wigs in the pic on abc's website.
