I don't know if I can stand to pre-order, because that means they ship it the day it comes out, but it takes about 5 or 6 days to get to you. It would be too hard for me to know that I could just run out and get it at Wal-Mart in 15 minutes the very day it's released. I wouldn't be able to resist, and then I'd be stuck with 2 copies.

Amazon.com often ships before the official "put-it-on-the-shelf" date (they ship it when they get it, and ABC sends it to stores early), so you preordering may even get it to you before you could get it anywhere else (but this is not always true).
