You guys are amazing! The four lead hobbits went through 1,600 pairs of feet. There were a lot more for the extras. There were also 1,600hobbit ears used. A lot more ears had to be made for the elves because theirs were made of gelaten and would melt. What was Mirkwood renamed?

My friend who is also obsessed, not as much as me I'm afraid, called me up one day and had the FOTR soundtrack blasting, it was on the transition from Journey in the Dark and The Bridge of Kazad Dum, and being the comedian she is, yells into the phone "The Orcs, they are coming! They are after me! Save me, Run!" and then she hung up the phone. IT was really funny.
That sounds like something my friend would do!! I would die of laughter if she did that to me!!!

Eryn Lasgalen was what Mirkwood was renamed... I'll get back to you on a question ^_^

Thought of one: where was Peter Jackson's cameo appearence?

Legolas is my favorite character ;) ,he is so cool and I love the charm !!!!! I love any scene with him in it.... and also scenes with Arwen and Aragorn.
My friend and I had an arguement about the fact that,in her opinion Arwen should dump Aragorn and go with Legolas  !!!but in my mind she belongs with Aragorn. :D

I just saw "Fellowship" last week and I enjoyed it. I thought it was visually cool and it kept me interested. I wonder when I'm gonna see "Two Towers" though, I know I want to.

If you do see Two Towers. See it in the theatres! There is something about seeing LOTR on the big screen that is even cooler then seeing it in your house, maybe size. I'm glad you saw it Flames24!

I don't know what cameo you would want SiriCerasi so I will tell you of the cameos of Peter Jackson that I have seen. In FOTR you see Peter in Bree with a carrot in his hand if I remember correctly. He is in Two Towers twice that I saw. Once with the wild men and the overunning of Westfold, and in Helm's Deep. The first thing you see of Peter is a picture. Can you guess where?

You saw the wild man too? yippee, I'm not crazy! Everyone else said he was only at helm's deep, but I was positive I saw him.

And he is the picture in Bilbo's house above the fireplace. I forget who it's supposed to be of.

And I'm sad, I was supposed to see TTT today but they are only showing it at 9:15  and thats during alias! And my parents would never take me that late...

It is still very sad that you didn't get to see it again. TTT is amazing. I love seeing it in the theatre. I never saw it with my parents. I went with friends each time. My dad likes it, my mom hates it. I think it is amazing. Very good about knowing Jackson is in the picture. I am very impressed!!! Has any one read Lord of the Rings: Making of the Trilogy by Brian Sibley? It is a good book and a very interesting read.

No, I haven't read that one but I've read Lord of the Rings: Official Movie Guide by Brian Sibley. I learned a lot about the movie from that book. There were some good pictures in it too.

I haven't read any of the movie guide books but i just sat there on my couch for countless hours looking at the dvd making of the moive and the production photos etc etc. I luv DVD i have to go give who ever created a big hug :D
