Here it is. The first installment of another of my solo stories. There will be no kidnapping by Sark, no Sydney or Vaughn being missing for x amount of years then returning battered and bruised, and (sorry spywolf) no Matthew Murdock. As much as you guys might like that story, life must and will go on. I will continue to that one, but I’ll carry this one as well.
Alright, here’s the standard stuff;
Disclaimer; No, I don’t own the characters or anything show-affiliated, and if you think I do, please go get a cat scan…
Author; Me, of course! And please don’t steal my ideas, story, title, etc. without asking first. I don’t appreciate being stolen from.

And Then There Was One
Syd POV
You know how sometimes, movies or television shows can start off with a dream making you believe that’s what’s actually happening? Well, I actually had a dream similar to that. But there was just one little problem- it wasn’t a dream, it was a nightmare. No, not even that—it was a memory.
Just imagine me, Sydney Bristow, standing on top of a hill surrounded by the dead bodies of all the people I hold closest. The grass is covered in blood, as are my hands, and for one fleeting moment, there’s one living amongst the rest. But he vanishes like that—friend or foe, I don’t know. I count nine bodies in total. I can’t quite make out the faces, but I know there’s two missing. Let me tell you about the events leading up to this disaster.

Well, we all know the story of the takedown of SD-6. That was two years ago. And guess what? I had finally gotten the man I loved. We were together and no one would take away our happiness. Well, almost no one. Arvin Sloane was still on the loose; no matter how hard we tried, he always seemed to slip out of our reach. So, being the foolish thing I am, I decided to set a trap. It would be perfect; no one would get hurt, and my lover and I would catch the bad guy. Things always seem to be perfect, but they don’t ever go according to plan.
And the plan seemed relatively simple; Sloane would believe Irina would be heading a new division and wanted him to partner her. For the sake of looks, Dixon, Marshall, the whole crew would be in on it. By that time, I had found out about my, huh, “best friend” being what she was, but I hadn’t called her on it. I decided to let the plan play out, and then we would bring her in with the Devil himself. Fool proof, right? Man was I dead wrong. Anything and everything that could go wrong did. I hope you’ve got a couple hours, because this might take a while.
You guys know the drill… read, review and post!
