Anne of Green Gables

If you love Anne of Green Gables, you will love the Pat Books *Pat of Silverbush and Mistress Pat* I also really enjoyed the Blue Castle and A Tangled Web. Great Books!

I have read the Anne books over and over. Anne of the Island used to be my favorite, now it is a toss up between Anne's House of Dreams and Rilla of Ingleside. I can't deceide who I like better Miss Cornilla or Susan Baker.

I love the Anne of Green Gables books. I am currently reading them to my daughter. We are on book four. When spring comes around, it always makes me want to read the books all over again.

Right now we are enjoying Rebecca Dew and her love for Dusty Miller.

I couldn't get her to read them on her own, so I deceided to read them too her. Now it is a time of day that we really enjoy together.

I  the Anne books so much. My aunt bought me Anne of Green Gables when I was 8 and I read it, and then the rest of them. They are so wonderfully written and I just  them so much. The movies aren't half bad either. ;)

Gilbert Blythe was my first literary crush.
Ha! Me too

Teehee, mine too. And still is. Along with Teddy, from the Emily series.

Weird thing is, I liked the first two books a bit, but not as much as I liked the next three (Anne of the Island, Anne of Windy Poplars, and Anne's House of Dreams).

Anyone read The Road to Yesterday? A bunch of short stories, all containing Anne and Gilbert and their children, but they're not the focus of the stories. They're entertaining.

I dunno, I never got into Pat of Silver Bush and the sequel. But I really do like Jane of Lantern Hill.

I loved Rilla of Ingleside - it gives a great point of view of what families went through during the WWI. Can you imagine getting your information on the war two weeks after is happened? - Great book.

Also if you liked the show Avonlea, read LMM book The Story Girl, the show is based from that book.

Omg these are my favourite books of all time! My absolute favourite one is Anne of Ingleside followed closely by Anne's House of Dreams! i have read all of them like 10 times! i started reading them when i was like 9 and then couldnt stop! ^_^
