I'm a Mariners fan and am thoroughly pissed that my team can't play worth felgercarb in August and September. Anyway, I hate the Yankees and am pulling for the adorable Cubbies to take it all this year. (Even though I'm not a Sosa fan) But could one of you Cubs fans explain the goat curse to me? I don't get it.

My sister's absolutely obsessed with the Mariners. I'm not as obessed, but I do wish they could make it further. :(

Anyway, I'm rooting for the Cubs and the Red Sox, because I have a thing for losers. (Besides, we'd get all kinds of fun 'end of the world' jokes.)

:lol: okay, I admit that the Marlins are good. and I will allow that they are in fact great. but the Cubs.... the Cubs are like *the* universally loved team. seriously. ^_^ my dad's been a Cubs fan since before he was born, and I apparently inherited that gene. :D every single person who's ever lived in Chicago has been waiting for that pennant for decades. :confused:

at least there's next year. ::crosses fingers::
 
I swear, whoever I root for loses. GRRR you'd think at least 1 of the teams i was rooting for would get in, but Noo Aaron Boone had to get a freaken home run and now the Red Sox are out 2 :angry: I stayed up til 12:30 last night to watch the yankees win :angry:
