Body Language

Here is an update...it's a day after the fight. Enjoy~

I should feel happy, this was one of the best days of my life! she thought.[/I] it should be the best day of my life. [/I] Sydney sat in her car contemplating wheter to go or not. Why wasn't he there? she thought. He knew he was angry with her, but it shouldn't have mattered. This was something they had been working at for a long time. It didn't matter if he hated her, she thought, he should know how much it means to me....to us. Sydney hit herself in forehead. "To us," she muttered. Sydney wished she had never gone to dinner in the first place. The thought of them being engaged haunted her. She barely substained a wink of sleep the past two nights and was constantly holding his picture frame he gave to her. Sydney knew she was jealous but would not admit it. (Sydney can be stubborn where she got that is anyone's guess :woot: ) Sydney's hands inched toward the ignition, she needed to know. She pulled into the C.I.A.'s parking garage. It took her forever to find it. She was so used to going hte backway it took her an extra 20 minutes to find the real entrance. She walked briskly to the doors and walked in, searching for Vaughn. She scanned the building quicklyseeing no sign of Vaughn. Where was he? It had been 4 hours already.


"Hey Weiss, you heard from him yet?" Sydney pulled up a chair and sat down.
"No, not yet," he said swallowing a bite of sandwich. "You know what i don't understand Syd, why do you wanna see him, when you got me right here?
Sydney smiled. "hmm," she said, "probably cuz you never give me any of your sandwich!" she snatched the sandwich and finished it off.
"Hey!" he said jokingly.
"I just can't imagine..." Sydney's mind was off somewhere else.
"Imagine what?" Weiss said intrigued.
"Why he wouldn't be there when.." she looked so distant
"Didn't you have a fight?" he asked trying to give her an explanation.
"Yeah, but he wouldn't miss this for something personal. He is professional That made Weiss laugh.
"Professional." he muttered. "I'll tell you one more time what happened. After you left which was about 9:00 someone called."
"Who?" Sydney said breaking him off.
Weiss hesitated, "Alice." Sydney flinched.

[flashback] 8:47 am CIA

Sydney walked in feeling as unstrong as Alice looks. (lol :D ) She walked past Vaughn's desk to hear him chattering away on the phone. Probably Alice she thought .
"Hey Weiss!" she was cheerful and held no resentment towards him.
"Hey gorgeous." he said giving her a hug.
"So what's new?" she asked pushing a strand of hair back from her face.
"Well, besides Michael acting like an ass?"
Sydney laughed, choking on her coffee. It ended up on the floor. Weiss always knew how to cheer her up.
"Yeah, he called me yesterday whining. Blah Blah Blah whine whine whine, he's like a little kid."
"Who's like a little kid?" Vaughn said, entering the conversation. You could easily tell he knew who Weiss was talking about.
"Oh..umm...this new guy one of my friends is interested in. Turns out he's married and well he called for advice. I'm gonna go get some more coffee for you Syd, since you can't keep from spilling it." Sydney laughed once more.
Vaughn and Sydney were left standing there. Alone. The intenstity was off the walls. Each one reading eachothers mind, yet nothing was said. Weiss returned.
"So what'd i miss? You to friends again?"
"You didn't miss much," Sydney said wishing she could just tell Vaughn how much she hated him and loved him right now. "I have to go..." she walked off pushing herself past Vaughn, she didn't look back

[present]

"Okay so after i left someone ... Alice called?" she said refocusing herself.
"Yeah," he said, "when he got off the phone he told me that he was going home for lunch to celebrate with Alice."

"Celebrate what?"
"Alice got promoted or something...anyway he said he'd be back hopfully around 1:00."
"1:00...doesn't his lunch start at 12:30?"
"Yeah it does..."
"So how can he celebrate in that short of time?"
"Syd, i want you to know something. Vaughn cares for you he cares for you alot. You being mad at him is tearing im apart.
"Tearin him apart! If he cared so much why wouldn't he be there? This was so important...if you haven't noticed SD6 and all the other cells were destroyed today, and he wasn't there!

Sorry i'm on the phone i'll post more when i can. reviews...reviews??
 
Here it is..

Holy felgercarb Vaughn thought. He rolled over and looked at his clock. It's 6:30. He hadn't realized it had been this long. He sat up in bed and pulled the blanket around him. He stood up and looked and walked quickly walked out of the room. He needed to get a shower, he always felt dirty afterwords when he and alice got it on. (lol) Probably because he was lieing everytime. When he shouted out her name and unbuttoned her shirt, it was all lies. he hated himself right now. Everything was so complicated. He loved Sydney Bristow, but he couldn't have her for several reasons, and everyday they seemed to pile on because of him. Before SD6 was just standing in there way. He was engaged to Alice and now Sydney thought he didn't love her. He focused harder, don't think about her don't think about her. Even if he broke up with Alice and got Sydney to speak to him again, what about SD6? He wasn't about to throw Alice away if he couldn't be with Sydney. Sure Sydney was 10 times smarter and funnier. Plus her looks, geez she made Alice look like an ugly red headed step child. (no offense to red headed ... just wanted to put that in there somewhere lol) She was gorgeous. Vaughn pulled the towel off and hopped into the shower. Concentrate on something else he thought. He picked up the soap and began lathering it over his body.It was soft and smelled like Sydney's hair. Quit thinking about her! He let his mind unwind and he finally relaxed. The steam was thick in the bathroom and the fragrances consumed him. This is so perfect he thought. If only Sydney were in here with me It would be more than perfect. Her body looked good wet. He remembered one time, Sydney was so upset that she came to him late at night. She had been out in the rain for hours it seemed. She was crying and her make up was running and she still looked great. (indicator hug) He held her all night long and comforted her. There was another time, she said she okay but he followed he home just to make sure. She had just vistied her mother and Vaughn could tell she was feelin distressed. She said she was fine but he didn't buy it. She stopped on the way home at a park and sat on a bench. It began raining actually it was pouring, tears enveloped her. She broke down. Vaughn touched her cheeks and whispered "Sydney, it's going to be alright." She immediately looked up. She thrust her arms around him and sobbed for what seemed like hours. After she was done she said sorry i got your shirt wet. "It's okay," he said, "how did you get wet?" he asked sarcastically. Sydney then realized it was raining.
The door of the shower opened. "Hey baby!" it was Alice. Ughh...Vaughn thought, now i'll have to shower again. She began sweet talking him. "I didn't think you'd ever show me what your capable of.." she said pulling him closer. I didn't he thought, if i got a chance on Sydney....now that would be pure...
"Michael," she said looking deeply into his eyes, "do you love me?"

Sorry to end so quick evil laughter..whahahaha just wanna see wut you all think??! (y) (n) review and i'll write lol it motivates me. Plus it tells me in which direction to take....

i luv all of the syd/vaughn/alice tension. mixing the end of sd-6 w/ the finale was a brilliant idea. POST !!!!
 
AHHHHHHHHHH torture!!!! ALICE EWWWWWWWWW Gross He doesn't love you you stupid ugly woman you!Get Syd and Vaughn together PLEASE!!!!! Let Weiss call tell him Syd is looking for him and that SD-6 is gone. So then He can break up with Alice and get together with Syd!!
 
I have a soocer game today at 3:00. Then i have a play to go to then a swimming party. I woulda posted last night but i live in oklahoma and TORNADOS GALORE! I will try my hardest to have it up by midnight tonight. Cuz i've been working on it, just have to type it. Thx for the reviews and i promise i will get updates up soon!
 
yeah! i can't wait! this is a really great story. so when is vaughn going to dump the *****? that was mean. but, the truth hurts! lol! love ya babe~amber~ :rolleyes:
