This is probably my all time favorite book. If you have never read it before, read the abridged version. It's the more likely version to find by Alexander Dumas (incredible author!). I loved the story so much, my grandfather went out and found the unabridged version, that they don't sell that much anymore. It has around 1078 pages of small print...I wouldn't recommend it unless you truly love the first version!

Considering how much it sounds like you love to read, I'm sure you will love it. The story-line is incredible as are the characters in it. (So many villians....wonderful discussion!)

oh boy... i placed a request for it at my library! i think it's unabridged

wow-- 1462 pages holy moly! and the abridged is 440 THAT'S 1000 PAGES CUT OUT!! DUDE! I'M READING THE UNABRIDGED!

wait- btvaughn what did you read? ^_^

i'll go and buy it so that way when im done with little friend(which is absolutely amazing, and we will most likely be finished tomorrow!)i can get started on that one!

we-as in me and my imaginary little friend!LOL< i honestly dont know what i was thinking, oh my ...LMAO!! im in tears from laughter right now, yes i ahve an imaginary friend and he reads with me!!!hehehehe!

Well the majority of the classics I read, i was basically forced to. But I admit I enjoyed them..they are jsut really boring the first 30 pages. I'm reading A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, by Charles Dickens now. The shorty is picking up, the fist 40 pages were rather bland and boring.

We also read Romeo and Juliet, I enjoyed that. We basically did a role play and thank god we didn't have to write the usuall 8 page papers she asks for. Just 50 unfun multiple choice questions.

To Kill A Mockingbird, I honestly enjoyed that novel alot....not the 8 page paper.

I've also read The Jungle, and Uncle Tom's Cabin. I tried reading the Odyssesy..but I never finshed it.

yea i enjoyed To Kill A Mocking Bird! That was great!

Okay... I'm on The Poisonwood Bible- like page 7 and i just wanted to note, the writing style is very unique!
