Horror fans who enjoy watching FEARnet are not happy with Comcast. Formerly a partner in the network, Comcast has bought out the other parties, Sony & Lionsgate, and now owns it 100%.

Their plan is to fold operations into their NBC Universal division and switch the content of FEARnet to it's existing Chiller channel and possibly some to SyFy as well.

FEARnet started on Halloween night in 2006 between the three parties. Just a few months after, NBC Universal launched Chiller. Fast forward to 2011 and Comcast acquires NBC Universal.

It is astounding how much control Comcast wields over the entertainment industry. :wtf: People were alarmed when Disney bought ABC but now seemingly are fine to accept what Comcast has turned into; it makes the Disney holdings look like nothing.
