Computer question....

Ok, here is my problem, my cd burner is on my other computer and some things that i would like to burn onto a cd are on this computer which is a laptop and does not have a burner. I am wondering if there is any possible way to transfer the files from this computer to the other compujter. I know that using a floppy disk will not work because the files are too big to fit onto the disks. Soooo...is there any other way to get the files from one computer to the other?? Or is there any way i can hook up my laptop to my other computer so that i can still burn the things onto my cds? I don't know if this is possible but i thought i would at least ask. I hope i didn't confuse anyone too much.

i have a wireless connection so i can b on the internet without being connected 2 a modem and share printers and files.

yah u can share printers with em. but i'll worn u it's very complicated 2 set up between the desktop and laptop

wireless connection would be nice.....yeah i can see how it probably be very complicated and with my luck i would probably break both computers while doing it....hmm..maybe i will see if the place where my dad works has any wireless routers and cards that we can borrow.

and chanel, i think you need a burner to put files onto cds and vcds, but i could always be wrong.

Depending on what it is...u may be able to make an email/dowload file with it n just access it on ur other computer...if there is internet conenction.

wireless connections allow u 2 share files, share internet connections, printers, scanners, etc. if u wanna share a file u transfer it 2 the "shared files" folder but getting the router and everything set up is very complicated, it took me about 2 weeks.

Hmmm, I used to have this USB transfer thingy but I'm not sure if I still have it....

If I find it, I'll give you the name of it. It only cost like $15 on ebay

is there any way to use a zip disk? i wouldn't know i don't have a laptop except zips hold a LOT more than a floppy. i mean a WHOLE LOT more.

i have a zip drive, but i don't use it, they're kind of out-dated. i don't know if u can use em like that, u could try, but i doubt u can

well THANK YOU you guys for the ideas....Marlene, that was a great idea w/ the internet, but the internet on my other computer isn't working....thank you tommy, i will look in the adds for a USB transfer thingy too lol....and the zip disk,is that the little opening that is right next to the floppy drive? i'm not sure, and can you buy those? but i guess like cari said it might not work, but hopefully i can figure it out what to do soon...anyways thanks again!
