Discovery

Junior high is a time of self-discovery,
We're neither child nor adult,
But an adolensent,
Growing and learning,
This school is like our mother,
Guiding us to the light of the real world.
In elementary school,
We learned to read and write, but mostly make friends.
Those friendships changed when we entered junior high,
Going into the groups like the preps, the jocks, and the brains.
Together we fit like a collage,
Each color, shape, and size has it own unique piece to the puzzle
That creates our class.
Our differences make us who we are.
As we look upon our childhood years flying away.
All that is left is the vivid memories of our school years.
Walking down these crowded halls, having that one great teacher, eating the greasy pizza, laughing at the most dumbest joke, running in track, winning the math counts regional, performing in the talent show, singing or playing in the school's musical events, shooting a perfect goal in the hoop, traveling to other places, learning new things, making new friends, saying hi to your crush, and being in junior high.
These days that will last forever.
As this chapter of our lives ends and new one begins.
Junior high taught myself many lessons for life.
The most important one is to enjoy our school years,
For we will be an adult soon and school is a place
Where we discover who we really our.
