Do you have a ritual to watch Alias ?

I was wondering if you always do the same thing to watch Alias !
Explain what you do before watching !!

Me, I tell to my mother "shh !" and I put a tape in my VCR !

What about you ????????

Okay, for me, I check which TV has the clearest resolution, get a tape with enough room, put it in the VCR and watch! I tell anyone who disturbs me to shhush or bugger off!
 
First of all i put a tape in the VCR and then you have to get comfortable, put pjs on and make sure your not hungry because it'll get annoying if you're hungry during the best show in the world.
 
I sit on AIM and and tell all my non-alias buddies to watch it, cuz its gunna be great.
Then they always say OK!
Then they never do... its interesting hearing their excuses tho.

Mind ya i have gotten a few ppl hooked... just not many.

Have you noticed how hard it is to get someone to watch alias!?!?! I swear they need to move it to a night where people arent doing their homework they put off all weekend :smiley: and a time where its not preceeded by a lame disney movie.
 
Well, I don't even bother getting food, it's not like I remember about it. I'll get comfortable on the floor, remote in hand, hockey stick in the other, waiting to brandish it at someone who talks. (I love hockey!!) Sometimes if I'm lucky I'll watch it alone, but normally it's my sister all crowded up against me(*shudders* I hate it when people get too close), my dad on the bed, right behind me, breathing down my neck and getting spit all over me (*shudders again* I hate it when people breathe on me or look over my shoulder) And my mom is usually out in the kitchen raving for the whole hour about how stupid the show is...GRRR!
 
ok firsti make sure the satelitte is working... once there was a storm and it was out! Then i make sure the tv is working and the vcr. then i put the tape in 3 min before it starts. I go get an ice cream from down stiars. then i watch. usaully alone (my mom and dad go to sleep at 930 sometimes lol) and my sister s older. sometimes during commercails ill talk about the show w/ alias buddies who r in the same time zone. but thats about it....Not much...lol!
 
ok I first check the tv guid channel to make sure the time hasn't changed. then i get a new tape put it in and start taping form 10 minutes before 9 just to be safe. Then I dont let anyone in my room when in watching alias. If some knocks on my door i yell GO AWAY hehehe. I hate to be bothered during alias
 
I get food and a drink just in case you never know. Then I bug my friends like I do before every episode to watch it or else I'll duct tape then to a chair. I shut off all the lights so my family thinks I am sleeping peacefully so they don't bother me. Theres only so long you can go saying you didn't hear them screaming your name before they buy you hearing aids. Then I sit in the "comfy chair" and watch the best hour to tv. :D
 
I put up my sign that says "Alias in progress...Do Not Disturb"...I put that at the foot of the stairs so no one goes up, then I get all comfy in pj's or whatever, put a tape in the VCR...this is all done a half hour before the show starts...just to be safe...
 
ok first i go pee so i don't have to on the middle of a syd and vaughn sene. (that happened too many times before) then i go to each induvidual person in the house and make them promise not to disturbe me. once my mom cme in and was putting foam in a box thats was really loud and syd and vaughn were talking! ok then i go into my room and shut all the doors and watch!!!

definitely, i have everything just planned out so i can take my shower etc. up until 8:58 and then i run around like a crazy person getting my blanket, pillow and various stuffed animals so i can go watch! :blush:
 
im really excited :woot: throughout the whole day cuz i can't wait for it to cum on, make sure all my homework is done, have a blank tape to record it so i can watch it over and over again, and tell everyone in my fmaily if they bug me they will get it after lol. thats pretty much it.
 
Well for me I get ready an hour ahead before it's actually on, than like 5 minutes before it comes on i double check the tape in my VCR and make sure there's still enough room than i sit on the edge of my bed waiting to hit the record button :D
LOL which reminds me I have to buy some more tapes for Alias...thanks :eek:
 
I just try and find a TV where no one else is, take control of it, wait as patiently as I can for it to come on. Once it starts, I turn up the volume, tune everybody and everything else out. I never eat during it and I have to store all of the information in my brain so I can come here later and review it and I also think a lot while it is on, too. :smiley:
 
well earlier in the day i get a tape ready when it nearly comes time i put it in.Call my dad and my sister to come watch it and then we sit down and we enjoy

lol...i finish my homework just minutes before alias starts..and if i'm not done by then, i do it after alias...which after alias i get too excited thinking of next week's ep, so i put it off until the next morning...they need a better day...everyone i know does their hw all on sunday
 
i cannot eat during alias, because if its something like chips, it makes too much noise and i cant hear vaughn and syd..u have to catch every lil word or you'll miss something
 
I get my pj's on like an hour before it, I get a tape ready at the same time. ALIAS nite is my
Big-Bowl-of-Ice-Cream nite and also my popcorn nite and whatever else I want to eat. Although
I start freaking out that I'll miss a sec of it so I run around the kitchen like a chicken with my
head cut off trying to prepare. And I guess I turn the volume up like all the way when it's on cuz
my mom is always going "Why is this up so loud?" Of course the only answer is "ALIAS is on!!"
One time my dad changed the station the sec it went to a commercial and my sis and I just
freaked out and yelled so loud. He changed it right back.
 
First if me and my husband have any plans for the weekend we make sure that we are back in time..
We always sit on the couch after the kids are in bed and watch it together!!!
