Syd and Vaughn are killers okay maybe not in the same way, They've never killed in cold blood, well I'm sure they haven't! Whereas Irina, well...she has, remember in "Second Double" when she slashed that guys throat, she didn't have to?? She could have knocked him out, or whatever, whereas in the same scene when Syd was on the roof she used tranqs!

Yes, Irina's motto seems to be "when in doubt, rub 'em out," whereas for Sydney and Vaughn it's "kill only as a last resort." It's efficient and ruthless--and, frankly, when done unapologetically, I found it quite refreshing--in Cardassians. Unfortunately, Irina is a human being. Her tendency to kill ruthlessly and without remorse is one of her less appealing qualities.

What you said about Jack I too agree, he'll kill for Syd, but in his defence it's too protect Syd, although he can take it to the extreme at certain times. The thing about Irina is that she for me has kind of a split personality, you can see her vunerability (I have completey screwed up the spelling sorry) side and then other times she looks well.....evil. She expresses so much in one look, I always pay attention to that.
However apart from the whole killing (I can deal with arse kicking) she's still my role model.

That's is the one thing that has completely and utter baffled me :blink: . I've been watching the Season 2 episodes again and I'm trying to fit in why she did verything she did, and it just doesn't play out, so yet again I'm like :blink: !

The whole show seems to be like that now. And people wonder why I plan not to continue watching next season if it continues. I really do feel that too many things seem to have not been well thought out, and that annoys me. It makes me feel like I'm being jerked around, and I have little patience for that. I hope JJ tightens things up next season. I don't think it will take more than a few episodes to tell if that has happened. it drives you crazy trying to figure out the show but in the end i guess it all makes sense but we're certainly not at that point yet.
