Do your friends despise Alias?

Well when it first started my whole family watched it but now...... They said that they don't like it anymore because 1) They just can't follow, 2) They say that the show will ruin my life, 3) They all say that I need help, and that there are people who ca help me!!! But I did get two friends hooked but don't what to go here because they hear enough from me!!!!! LOL
 
I was telling my English teacher all about it a couple week ago. Today after class, she tells me, Oh my god! That show is just so cool! I'm hooked on it! And she went on about how awesome sydney is and things like that....Jennifer Garner....Michael Vartan....and Vaughn......She's my fave. teacher now. ;)
 
i have gotten six of my friends into Alias but they are not as nearly as obsessed as i am. They don't even understand half of it cuz they just started getting into it and i have to explain(which i don't mind!) and then when i go on and on about the spoilers i found or last week's episode(still talking about the getaway dinner!!S/V all the way!) they all roll their eyes and say i need help! but if any one has the guts to tell me they hate it, they wish they hadn't because i go into a lengthy speech about why it is the best show!!
 
I have a really close friend and I always talked about Micheal Vartan and Alias. She watched a little bit but I really got her into it. I have gotten like three or four people into it. But i really want one of my friends to get into it, but her parents won't let her watch it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Wow thats freaky that sounds exactly like me!

My friend got me hooked and we got my other friend hooked, and then i got at least 2 other people to watch.

But my one friend who really wants to watch it and is obsessed with Vaughn can't watch TV!!

Now does that sound exactly like you or what... freaky :blink:
 
None of my friends watch it as obsessivly as I do, a few will watch with me and they kbow that I will do nothing other than watch Alias on sunday nights at nine
 
The only one of my friends I could convince to watch it caught it for a few minutes, got instantly confused and then turned it off. That was of course before I could help her out and introduce her to Vaughn's character - she's hooked now :P
...My other friends not so much, but hey - you can't win them all. :D
 
None of my friends watch Alias. They call me obsessed because that is all I ever talk about. I try to get them to watch it but they say its boring. I was like OMG, what did you just say? :eek: :eek: :eek: :o_O:
 
I don't have any friends that watch Alias faithfully either! I was SO happy when I found these boards today! (Thank you thank you!) I have one friend I met on LotR boards awhile ago and she and I talk on AIM about it all the time and obsess about it, but she lives so many states away! I'm all alone! I go to school every Monday trying to tell them all how good the last episode was...most of them know everything that's going on because I explain everything to them in detail practically every day, but no loyal Alias fans :( .
 
i have couple of friends who hate alias, but mostly thats because they'll walk up in the middle of a conversation about alias between another friend and i and then they feel excluded i guess, even though we try to explain what we're talking about
 
NONE i repeat NONE of my friends watch alias!! wats w/ it!!!i am a recruiter but the fans aint coming!!!!
 
that is how it always is it really sux--one friend of mine used to now he doesnt but i just found out another one does only to see her kicking other peoples ass
 
but u no wat!!!??? you guys r the best i do have friends there just not ones that i see everyday! thanks u guys!
