Doom movie trailer preview

From watching the preview it looks like they changed the basic premise of the story line a little bit. In the game you were battling demons unleashed through a gateway on Mars but in the movie preview it looks like the battle is against genetically modified humans (more along the lines of Resident Evil).

thats maybe a bit too much creative license! do they think a long history of Doom fanatics will not notice their life and love is butchered?

okay, that could have been any scifi film till at the end the Doom title we all recognise came up. it's definitely not anything like i was expecting. since the latest Doom game has an 18 rating on it, meaning there isn't feasible a whole new generation of kids to watch it that don't know the full, proper setting, "creative license" has finally been lost to hollywood
