I would like to start off by saying that this forum is awesome and it really is off to a great start. I have joined a lot of forums and this is already one of the best. I have a couple of things that I think we can do until the shows starts back up again in Feb.

TWD Marathon- I think we should have some sort of viewing party/thread where we re-watch the whole show and have discussions over what we liked and didn't like

TWD Contests- We could start having some posting contests or referral contests for some real world rewards. We can give away the dvd's, games, comics, and action figures.

TWD RP- I think that if we start a RP we can have that keep us busy while the show comes back on. I have done a few RPs and they can be fun if they are done right.

Marathon - I'm all for this :smiley: There's some things I can't 100% remember and I think it'd be fun going over and discussing some of the major plots/decisions made.
Contests - I think we'll continue to have a couple smaller ones for now until we get more members, and then we can try the posting/referral thing again. Right now I'll have some caption contests going, and we'll be starting up a Member of the Month. I'll try to think of some more as well.
Roleplay - I've been playing around with the idea in my head for awhile and I've love to have one here - but it's another thing that I think would be more successful with more members. But if there's enough interest now, it'd definitely be something I'd consider adding - even if it was just on a smaller scale for now.
 
I'm not familiar with Role play as ive never done it before maybe someone could inform me. I am actually thinking of a couple different things we can to kick off the new year. I really like the marathon idea im all for this we just need to find out who is interested in it.
 
It's where you pretend to be a character and we're in a universe in this case, TWD universe. Damn, it's really hard to explain but it's exactly what it sounds like. Thanks for taking my suggestions in consideration guys.

Guess it wasn't that hard lol. If you guys plan to do the marathon we should start soon because it starts back up in Feb. and we have two seasons to get through.
 
Question about the marathon do you think we should try and stream from someones computer or we watch it by our self and discuss after?
 
I believe we should watch it on our own time because people have different schedules and different time zones. We should have the discussion up for a day or two so it gives everyone a chance to watch it. Although, a live stream would be interesting.
 
Lego me and Valentino were talking and we think the best way to do the marathon idea is we watch 3 episodes a week and we discuss those three episodes in 3 separate thread what do you think since this was your idea?
 
Either in separate threads or maybe one thread per week?

We might skip a week or so during Christmas as well, since some of us might not be able to watch/get on the computer much.
 
Well we can start after x-mas since a lot of people go out of town and such and I think 3 episodes a week might be too much also I think it should be separate threads so it won't get all messy.
 
I guess it depends on when Season 3 returns? We would have 19 episodes to cover and with only 2 a week we might not make it in time, especially if we start after Christmas. It'd be pretty tight, anyway :P If it started up again at the end of February we might be safe though.
 
We'd have a little more than 7 weeks then, so I think we'd be okay as long as one of the weeks had 3 episodes (starting December 26th).
