The 4th season will be available on DVD tomorrow, June 10, according to the IMDB. If you go through this site and order through Amazon, you can support allalias.com! (Unsubtle plug.)

Yes, we know that the 4th season wasn't everyone's favorite, but it included the classics "Hush," "Superstar," and "Restless," as well as terrific moments throughout the season.

Talk more about the DVD sets here.
:D

I didn't realize that was coming out so soon! felgercarb...I can't really afford to get it right now, but I probably will anyway, and then I'll have hardly any money left. The things we do for our TV shows.....Lol.

And I think Season 4 is sometimes underappreciated. I hated Riley and Adam and the whole thing with "The Initiative", and of course, it was a different feel with them being in college, but if you look back at the core Scooby moments, the writing was still top-notch. I remember just as many funny scenes, as well as dramatic and touching ones, in Season 4 as I do from the earlier seasons. It's just that the memory of Riley taints it... ^_^

yea i was never much pro-riley..i didnt hate him or anything, but after Angel he just didn't match up

I love the DVD sets. I'm already getting the it. My dad's bringing it home today (I can't wait!) Sorry, I can just get it at a store with a discount  But seriously, I can't wait to see all the new featuretts and things like that because I love those b-t-s things.

I didn't get season 4... I'm not a big fan of seasons four or five. The end of 5 was ok, but the begining... :gag: Four was dull, and Kewii is right, just after Angel, he was nothing compared to him. :laughs: I saw a picture of Angel with Riley in a headlock. It wasn't what it really was, someone inserted Riley on the head of whoever Angel was REALLY holding, but itwas amusing.

Anyway, CS, I agree. His hair in the begining creeped me out.

And does anyone know WHY he left? I mean, did Marc Blucas cause problems, or want out, or want more money? Cuz as much as I love Joss, Riley's reasons for leaving were kinda bad...

I always thought that they just wrote him out because nobody liked him, and they realized that his character wasn't interesting and the story wasn't really going anywhere. But whatever their reasons were, I for one was very grateful.

Heck, I wouldn't have cared if they'd had one of those giant cartoon canes slip in from the side and yank him offstage, just as long as he left.

They wrote Riley out because the character wasn't working out. There wasn't anything with the actor, like there was with Seth Green, whom they would have liked to have kept.
;)

:nods: Thanks for clearing that up... :sigh: At least Angel had a semi-good reason. Riley was acting like a jealous two year old. Suck it up bozo.

Hehe. yeah, he acted too imature. I'm sure it's not the actors fault, but still, I was glad to see Riley go.

Ya... but I still felt bad for Buffy.

And then I went back to blaming Joss for having Angel leave.

Joss and I have a love/hate relationship.
