i watch ice skating on tv sometimes and i think the ice skaters are soooooooooo graceful!!! when i was little i vowed to be an ice skater when i grew up but i don't think i can!~lol~i can skate and everything and do a twirl! it's soooo kewl! but i could never learn how to jump and twirl in the sky ar flip over like Scott Hamilton!~LOL~
that would be cool to do...
iyeah it would be so cool, the other day i picked a random tape at home and it had the closing ceremony from salt lake city and i saw scott hamilton doing those flips, i've only everbeen ice skating once

oh, i love watching ice skating, it's so elegant and peaceful looking (when the person is good and makes it look that way, lol) even then, it is so fun. i have only been ice skating once, and i loved it, i didnt fall either ~does dance of joy~ :jump: lol, i think those are so cute. ne way, i was gonna say, that, of course, i wasnt able to do any of the fancy stuff, but i had fun, and i like watching it, as i said already.

Anyone else see Worlds? I watched men's on Thursday night... Tim Goebel was amazing! He was really on. But he placed second behind Yvgeny Pleshenko or however you spell his name (those wily Russian names  ), who I don't really like. He totally is full of himself! Ick.

I watched women's tonight. Michelle Kwan won. And I've seen her skate so many times over the past decade, and I think tonight's performance was her best ever. She had this presense on the ice that no one else had. Too bad about Sasha Cohen... but she's young. We'll be seeing more of her. And the Japanese woman who placed third... yay! Only, Dick Button messed up her coach and the coach's daughter's name (Sato and Yuka Sato). He pronounced it like "sayto" but the 'a' is soft. I have never heard anyone mess up that name before. I don't like Dick Button, he's really annoying.

Sergei Grinkov was a cutie. It's really too bad what happened to him. He was practicing with his partner, his wife, Ekaterina Gordeeva (they did pairs), when he had a heart attack. She wrote an autobiography about her and Grinkov's life together, called My Sergei. It's amazing.

I figure skated for 13 years, I started when i was 2 . Then one year I decided to play Hockey, and I quit figure skating because made me choose one or the other. But I still watch some figure skating

wow 13 years it is just such a beautiful sport i admre it like i admire dance but i can actually half way dance i cannot skate for my life but i love to watch it

Figure skating is one of the only two sports that i really follow. So glad that Michelle Kwan won the worlds. She really deserved it. And Sasha Cohen it's so sad how she never go through a program flawlessly (except in russian for something last month) she is so graceful!!!! Love how she Skates. Michael Weiss is cute too. hehe Michael...Weiss... I relate everything back to Alias. hehe and Sale and Peltier are awsome. My favourite pairs skaters. so sad how they went professional :( oh well, i guess it's their decision...

Did they really? Maybe I knew that and forgot... whoops. But I think it's great that they did! I think they'll make great professionals!

ya but that means we wont' see them at the competitions anymore and i'm so sad :(

i love watching figure skating! erm...i can ice skate but not anything amazing. I can kinda skate backwards. i took some basic skating classes. nothing major. i skating is safer then inline skating! no steep steep hills!

true... but it's not like competition. Dont' ask, I'm so competitive i'ts not even funny.

I've only ice skated twice, didn't like it too much but it was funny to watch others!! Figure Skating is one of my favorite Winter Olymics games to watch!

OMG i know..michelle kwan deserves gold!! especially an olympic gold! it is so sad to see her go and not get a gold when that is the only things she needs!

i skate some...not like in competions just for fun....i am actually pretty good...i mean i don't fall down often...which is good!

Michelle Kwan definitely deserved gold, I'm not a big fan of Sarah Hughes!

But I am a huge fan of ::sigh:: Timothy Goeble...mmmm! I even got to meet him and the others from Champions on Ice...what a great day that was!
