For the DIY crowd... cleaning garage door seal rubber?

OK, this may be an odd question but I figure somebody out there has come across it before.

I recently replaced both of my garage doors at the house. Nice, white, and they look great. The caps around the door are white. The seal strips (the strips with the rubber seam on them to form a seal around the door when it is closed) over the course of time are now dark grey from age & grime. Is there some way of cleaning the rubber seals to restore them to their once bright white color again so that they don't look so out of place now with the new doors?
