I guess Lionsgate has a copyright agreement with YouTube to allow free broadcasts of some of their movies. This is a great way to catch up on some old hidden gems. I have just started exploring the YouTube Movies channel so as I find more Science Fiction, Fantasy or Horror I will try to include them.
I seriously doubt you will find huge blockbusters but the one above was not too shabby.

I remember this from the old SciFi Channel

Dinosaurus

Slipping along an ill-defined track between seriousness, subtle farce, and all-out slapstick, this sci-fi comedy-drama by director Irvin S. Yeaworth, Jr. (The Blob, 1958) would be entertaining enough for the moppet set and highly amusing in many spots for adults as well. What sets the ball rolling is that a tyrannosaurus rex, a brontosaurus, and a neolithic man are brought back to life from their prehistoric world. As desperate leaders of the modern world try their best to kill off the carnivorous tyrannosaurus rex, the caveman is receiving high-voltage culture shock from the "civilization" he encounters all around him. One sequence has him coming face to face with a woman in full make-up -- and both go screaming off in terror. Gregg Martell is the confused Neanderthal, Julio (Alan Roberts) is a boy who tries to make friends with the brontosaurus, and Mike Hacker (Fred Engelberg) is the requisite villain.

Found this gem and laughed so hard!
Enjoy!

Here is a true Gem!

Robinson Crusoe On Mars

Spun from Daniel DeFoe's tale of the titular character, this sci-fi story involves a spaceship commander, Chris Draper (Paul Mantee) in a similar situation to the original Robinson Crusoe -- but rather than being stranded on an island, our hero is on a hostile planet. Draper, Colonel Dan McReady (Adam West), and a test monkey look as if they are going to collide with a meteor. Draper and the chimp are able to eject themselves from the vessel, but McReady is not so lucky. The two survivors safely land on Mars and figure out how to breathe, drink, and eat on the inhospitable planet. After some time, Draper crosses paths with a human, Friday, who has recently escaped slavery on an alien planet. As the two find a means of communication, they become friends. They soon work together to survive the incredible odds, including an alien attack and meteorological phenomena. Filmed on location in California's Death Valley, this impressive feature owes much to cinematographer Winton C. Hoch and special effects master Lawrence W. Butler.

LOL, I found GhostBusters!

If you need a description for this movie I fear there is no help for you.

Since this one is sponsored by Crackle I doubt it will play for those outside the USA...Sorry!

Colony, Lifeform and Ghostbusters don't work here in the UK unfortunately. We always hear of the joy of Hulu over here too, but that's discluded from us too.

Oh well. Nice finds though.

Sorry Tim, I have been looking for a work-around but haven't found one yet.
But then again there are actually more sites that the USA can't view. Mostly in China, Korea & Japan.

I don't think you can view Crackle which is what most of the Youtube sources are.
You might try Youtube UK Movies and see if that results in any sponsors that are for the UK

In this campy sci-fi film, the hero and his little band of post nuclear holocaust survivors find themselves stalked by telepathic cannibal mutants.

Don't Poke the monster from Venus!

One of special-effects wizard Ray Harryhausen's pre-Seventh Voyage of Sinbad efforts, 20 Million Miles to Earth borrows a few pages from King Kong. An American spaceship crashlands off the coast of Sicily. The rescue party discovers that the astronauts have inadvertently brought back a curious gelatinous mass from the planet Venus. This lump of goo rapidly evolves into be a living reptilian creature, which scientists label an "Ymir". While being subjected to laboratory experimentation, the Ymir begins growing by leaps and bounds, and before long the gigantic monstrosity has escaped and is wreaking havoc in Rome. After battling a zoo elephant and taking a swim in the Tiber, the gargantuan creature holes up in the Colosseum, where the film's pyrotechnic finale occurs.

Am I evil if I want to punch that kid in the mouth?

Can I get a description for that movie...um Ghostbusters. Is that the one where the kid says, " I see dead people"? Okay, okay...I can't go on with this any longer. If you don't know what Ghostbusters is...please leave this site immediately. I was such a Ghostbusters fan that I even watched the cartoon as a kid and bought the latest Ghostbusters video game just to get my fix. It was the closest thing to a Ghostbusters 3 I'm afraid. When I was young, I even made a proton pack out of an umbrella attached to a school backpack.

On a side note...anyone else been on a Netflix 80's horror trip lately or is it just me?
