I'd have to say that girls are smarter! Almost all the people who are failing school are guys. Sure, they're good at other stuff, but book smarts? You have to give it up to the girls!
that's true... i've only heard of 2 girls to ever fail and a ton of guys.

girls gotz da brains AND willpower. i mean look at syd, she can do everything a guy can, but BETTER! i love the shows/movies/books/etc based on a girl hero. i think its cool. :D

My philosophy--

Boys can do things very well in small amounts. For instance, sprints.

Girls can do things decently over an extended period of time. For instance, long distance running.

This is a very bad generalization, but I find it to be true in most cases. -_-

i'd have to agree...girls and guys can be equal in all different places. I'm not sure if running is the best example..it's not true at our school!

But in adulthood, I'm not sure about the statistics, but guys do have generally better jobs.
and this has nothing to do with the fact that society in general is still rather patriarchal. ;)
I agree. Society is sexist, and if you asked my offline friends, theyd tell you that I say that quite often.
It's true that sexism exists, but IMO, there's not as much sexism in employment as some ppl think. Yes, there are many unfair sexests, but I think most people get hired based on their qualifications, not their sex. However, there are jobs that go on sex preferences for either sex, like attractive girls would be preferred for bartending and attractive guys for the cashier.

yes, cause who would go into a bar with unattractive girls and who would go into store if there were unattractive guys working there?

if it were all about qualifications and experience, then why do women still make only $0.75 to the man's dollar?
