Well, since the books are one year apart in Harry's life and the movies are more than that, they almost have to, don't they?

Nah, cause there are some 30+ year old actors who play teenagers, like in Remember the Titans, some of the guys on the football team were over 25

Yeah, now all they do is get taller which won't be hard to get by considering the book characters are doing the same thing! I wonder if they'll do movie four rnext year? If so, we might run out of books before JKR can write them!

Somehow i doubt that. I just wish they kept peeves in the movie, they said they didn't have enough technologically advanced special effects for him, but if LOTR can pull off Gollum, how come they can't do peeves?

If they do a movie #5, they had better do him! Technology is becoming so much better, I don't think any one would object to having him blast through a wall and drop dungbombs on students in the near future!

Fred's instructions were probably one of my favorite parts of the whole book! You need him in number 4 too, and 3 when he sees Sirius. I don't know it's annoying, they are just too lazy, tech. didn't stop WETA!

That is exactly what I'm thinking! Look at Gollum for goodness sakes!!! If he can be done why can't a poltergeist, who isn't even a human character not be done?

Maybe they had too small of a budget or something, but I don't know. :blink: But I agree with Nad that a poltergeist would have been easy to create compared to Gollum!

Didn't Warner Brothers do harry potter? THey have tons of money, aren't they teamed up with aol and disney? they'd have enough to get some animators or something to do peeves, like weta or ilm

Yeah HP is with AOL Time Warner, they have loads of cash as well as hey it is Harry Potter it is going to do well even if it is bad. Peeves wouldn't be much harder than Nick would he?

Yeah, the third movie has been started and Radcliffe is in it, Robin Williams is the suspected actor for Professor Lupin and I think that sounds completely fake
