It definitely must have started there in Hong Kong ... when Sloane was talking to Jack, he said that in one day the "il dire" would be ready ... assemled ... that would be the same time Syd was fighting Freplica ... so, at the moment she goes unconsciuos, thats when "il dire" started working ...

Has anyone considered that Vaughn found Syd after the fight with Evil Francie, time passed, he married Syd, more time passed, then Syd was taken by Sloane, her mother, and/or her father? Vaughn said Syd has been missing for a couple years since "that night." We don't know which night.

No! Because it's so unlikely that they would just skip two years. I mean, it would take all of Season three to explain what had happened in the two years. I mean, they would have to explain every character, not just Syd. I like the glimpse theory.
