I dont think this chapter is that good. Actually i think its kind of stupid But i had to do it so the next chapter will be good. I think i just confused myself. LOL. So i dont mind if you say its bad. Sorry if theres mistakes.

(Next chapter)

Vaughn starred at it. She thought he was going to take it, but instead he closed her hand with the key still in her palm. He looked at her.
“I would never betray your trust.” He said
She looked into his green eyes. Inside she could see he was smiling at her. He opened his arms and she took the invitation. He held her tight.
“I love you.” He said
“I love you too, and I’m so…”
He stopped her
“I know” He leaned down and kissed her. They broke apart
“Oh my god, you must be freezing.” He said as he looked down at her wet clothes.
She hadn’t noticed until he said something.
“Yeah, I guess.” She said still caught up in the moment
“Come on.” He waved her inside
“I’ll get you some clothes.” He gave her some clothes and she changed into them.
“Why don’t you stay the night?”
“I can’t.” she said
“I would it’s just, I don’t think Kendall would like it if I came in with your clothes on.”
“Okay” he kissed her “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Yeah.” She turned and left. He watched her leave.

(NEXT DAY OPERATIONS CENTER)

“Agent Vaughn, you seem to be happy.”
“We found Agent Bristow.” Vaughn said
“Yes, I heard.” Devlin said
“So what did you want to talk to me about?” Vaughn asked
“We would like too know if you and Agent Bristow are more than handler and asset.”
“Excuse me?” Vaughn said
“You heard me.” Devlin said
“Yes, I heard you but I can’t believe your asking me this. Quite frankly I’m not going to tell you.”
“Well I think you should, seeing we found a video tape of you and Agent Brisotw together about a week ago in her home.” Devlin threatened
“You listen to me, this Agency is a part of my life enough, now I’m not, under any circumstances going to tell you about my love life.” Vaughn said
“So I take that as a yes.” Devlin said
Vaughn got up and walked too the door.
“We did not excuse you Agent Vaughn.”
“There’s nothing else to talk about.” He said walking out of the room.
“Bring in Agent Bristow.” Devlin said
“Yes sir.” The guard said
About 15 minutes after Vaughn had left. Sydney was called to the meeting room. She walked in and saw the director and 5 other agents sitting in front of her.
“Agent Bristow. You were kidnapped a couple of nights ago yes?”
“That’s correct.”
“By Your best friend Francie.”
“No, it wasn’t Francie, I fact is I have no clue who it was.” She said
“Anyway, Agent Vaughn came to rescue me.”
“Yes, we no he went against orders. That’s why we wanted to talk to you we are considering removing him from your case.” He said
“What?” She said surprised
“He broke protocol.” He said
“Yes, and in the process saved my life twice in one damn night, he should be given some medal or something.”
“Medals are only for Agents that take a bullet or die in order to save another Agents life.”
“Well then he deserves one. He took a bullet for me and he almost died. It’s funny for an agency that takes care of its own, you sure don’t notice when one of our own almost dies.” She said with an angry tone.
“Now is that it?” she asked
The room went silent.
“Yes you may leave.” Devlin replied
Sydney headed for the door
“Agent Brisotw? Make sure Agent Vaughn is at the Convention Dinner tomorrow night, I can’t get him a medal, but he will be recognized.”
Sydney left the room.

Later that night Vaughn meet Sydney for dinner.
“Hey Syd.”
“Hi.”
“How did the meeting go with Devlin?” She asked
“Not good you?” He said
“Not much better.” She said
“Hey you’re going to that convention tomorrow right?” she asked
“No, I don’t like those big dinner parties.” He said
“Oh come on, I don’t want to go by myself. Please will you go with me.”
He looked at her, he saw she really wanted to go.
“Fine, but I’m only going because of you.” He said

They ate dinner and then Sydney brought up the subject that they almost ended their relationship.
“So what’s the news with your family, did you find them?” she asked
“Yes, there living somewhere in France.” He replied
“France, really?” she said
He laughed “My words exactly. I thought they were living somewhere here in the U.S.”
“Are you going to see them?” she asked
“Someday.” He said
“Vaughn, you can’t put this off forever?”
“Syd it’s been over 10 years since I last saw them. I can’t just go and say “Hi mom I’m home, remember me your son who hasn’t talked to you for over ten years.” It just doesn’t work that way.”
Syd understood
“I’m sorry.” She said
“Can we just, not talk about it.” Vaughn said
Vaughn paid the bill and they walked out to their cars.
“Pick me up at 6:30 tomorrow okay?” She said
“Okay, I love you.” He said
“I love you too.” She said
They headed off into opposite directions.

Vaughn went home. “Oh my god I need a tuxedo.” Vaughn looked at the time it was 10:00 there was no way anything was open now. So he decided to go in the morning. Syd was at home deciding what to where.
“Lets see Russian dress or German dress” she laughed, she had been looking at the dresses that she had once worn on missions.
“German.” She finally decided. Now that she knew what she was going to wear she went to sleep. Vaughn finally got tired of pacing around that he too dozed off to sleep.

The next morning Vaughn went and picked up a tux and went to work.
(Operations center)
“ Well thankfully for you guys, you won’t be working because of the Dinner tonight, I take it you are all going.” All of them nodded “Well then I will see you all tonight.”
Kendall said as all of the agents left the room.
Vaughn started to walk out of the room. But before he could Jack stopped him.
“Vaughn?”
“Yes?”
“Thank you for saving Sydney. I don’t know what I would do if anything would have happened to her.”
Vaughn smiled and walked out of the room.
Later before the dinner party Vaughn showed up at Sydney’s doorstep and rang the doorbell. She opened it. She stood back for a minute marveling at how hot he looked in tux.
“Vaughn, you look great.”
“Thanks” he said
“You look beautiful.”
Sydney had a red strapless dress on. She was wearing the earings he had bought her a few days ago.
“Are you ready?” he said
“Yeah” she closed the door behind her. He walked her to the car door and opened it, she grabbed his hand and sat down.
“Thanks” she said
He smiled and got in the car and drove to the restaurant where the dinner was being held.
He helped her out of the car and they walked in the door hand and hand. Everyone was looking at them, they just looked so perfect together. There were atleast 300 hundred agents there. Vaughn and Sydney headed over to the table that Weiss, Jack, Kendall and some other agents were sitting at.
“Hey everyone.”
“Hi.” they all said. Vaughn shook everyone’s hands while Sydney hugged the men.
“Will everyone take their seats please?” Devlin asked
Everyone sat down.
“It nice to see everyone here tonight. We have so many things to celebrate one being that the alliance doesn’t exist anymore. The other is that we have an Agent of Honor here tonight.” Everyone was confused. “That’s right, this man saved another agents life a couple of days ago he took a bullet for her. The bullet was 2 centimeters away from his heart.” Everyone gasped. “This Agent has shown bravery and dedication. So without further ado I ask that Agent Michael Vaughn make his way up to the stage.” Vaughn sat there and starred at Devlin not believing what he was hearing.
Vaughn looked at Sydney.
“Go,” she said. She nudged him
He got up and walked up to the stage. Everyone clapped
“I’m proud of you son.” Devlin said
“Go on make a speech.”
Vaughn took the microphone. He looked out at audience. Then just began talking.
“My father was an agent before he was killed. I always looked up to him, and when I was told he wasn’t coming home I was heartbroken. When I was 18 I joined the CIA looking for answers and revenge. I thought I was going to get answers and I just got questions. Then someone changed my life forever.” Vaughn walked down to where Sydney was and grabbed her hand, he led her up to the stage. “Last year Sydney Bristow came into my life, I was assigned as her handler. I remember looking at her profile and just sitting there, amazed at how selfish I was. Here is this woman who has lost so much. She’s not even recognized for what she does. She could take out anyone of you right now without even trying.” Everyone laughed “Some of you a probably wondering why I would work with the woman who’s mother killed my father. The truth is, I don’t blame her one bit, and she’s nothing like her mother. Even though she doubts herself at times, she is a great Agent and even a greater woman. She has changed my life so very much. Every morning I wake up wanting to be a better person. You don’t know how much you love someone until you almost lose them. Protocol is what killed my father and I won’t let it happen to me. I love Agent Bristow with all of my heart. And there is no other person in the world that deserves this recognition more than Sydney Bristow.” Vaughn left the stage leaving Sydney alone. She didn’t know what too say she wasn’t expecting this.“When I walked into the front door of the CIA, I was at the point of never trusting anyone again. So many people had lied to me, that I wasn’t sure who to believe. But then I walked into Agent Vaughn’s office.” She laughed “He was so nice to me, and I think I gave him a really hard time. But after the first couple missions, I started to trust him. He was always there for me when no one else was. I don’t deserve this, but I know who does. A man who gave his life for his country, the man Irene Derevko killed. Agent Vaughn Sr., Michael Vaughn’s father.” Sydney walked off the stage and she sat down. Vaughn looked at her.
“Come on.” He grabbed her hand and led her out the door.
“Where are we going?” she asked, as they drove down the street to the cemetery. They got out of the car.
Vaughn walked over to the grave, while Sydney stood by the car.
“Come here.” He said. She walked over to him
“You would have really liked him.” He said.
“If he was anything like you I’m sure I would have.” She said
“Come on lets go home.” He said
“Wait, promise me you’ll go visit you mother and sister.”
“Syd.”
“I’ll go with you.” She said
“When? I don’t even know when to go.” Vaughn asked
“Tomorrow.” She said
“Tomorrow? isn’t that kind of soon?” Vaughn asked
“It’s never too soon to see your family.” She said
He thought for a minute “Your right.”
They got back into the car and headed home. He dropped her off at her house.
“I’ll go home and pack, then I’ll come back here.” He said
“Okay” she got out of the car, he waited until she got inside before he drove off.
When he got home he packed a couple of dress shirts and some pants in a large duffel bag. Then he went back to Syd’s house. He walked in and closed the door.
“Hey” she said
“Hey” he said back
“I found a flight at 5:30 in the morning.” She said
“5:30?” he said
“It’s the only one I could find.” She said
“Okay.” He said looking at the clock 12:00
“We better get to bed we have to be up in a few hours.” He said as they both headed off to bed.
Beep, beep, beep.
“Syd, come on we have to go.”
“Still tired.” She said
“Me too but this was your idea.” He said
She got up and took a quick shower.
“Ready?” he asked
“Yeah, lets go.” She said
They boarded the plane and slept the whole trip there. When they finally arrived in France they rented a car. Vaughn started driving to the farms on the outskirts of France. He finally came to a small farmhouse. He sat there for a minute and watched the teenage girl riding her horse. Sydney sat there and watched him.
“Vaughn?” she asked
He sat there and just watched the girl.
“Vaughn?”
He came back to reality. “Yeah.”
She grabbed his hand “Are you ready?’
He laughed “No, but I’m still going to do it.”
He got out of the car and Sydney quickly walked to his side grabbing his hand. The girl saw him and got off her horse.
“May I help you.” She said
“Lauren?” he said
“Do I know you?” she asked
“It’s me Michael.”
Her eyes lit up. “MICHAEL.” She said as she jumped into his arms. Sydney smiled. Just then his mother came out holding a cup of coffee.
“Lauren, what’s wrong?” she said. Vaughn turned around to look at his mother. She dropped her coffee.
“Michael? Is that you my boy?” His mother said covering her mouth.
“Your one and only.” He walked up to her and hugged her
“I’m sorry I didn’t come sooner.” He said
“Is your father with you?” she asked
“No, mom.” He said “Mom, I want you to meet someone.” Vaughn held his hand out to Sydney. “Mom this is Sydney Bristow, were dating.” He said. His mom shook her hand.
“It’s very nice to meet you Sydney.” She said
“It’s nice too meet you too.” Sydney said.
‘I’m sorry, Sydney this is Lauren my sister. Lauren this is Sydney.” He said
“It’s nice too meet you Lauren.”
“You too Sydney.” Lauren said
“Can we come in mom?” he asked
“Of course.” His mother said
They went in and sat down in the living room. Vaughn never let go of Sydney’s hand.
“Mom, I work for the CIA, and so does Sydney.” He said
“What? I thought you said you weren’t going to get into that life.” She said, “Wait until I talk to your father.”
“Mom, dad’s” he paused “Dad’s dead.” He said
“What? How?” she said crying. Lauren started to cry too.
“He was killed.” He said
“By who? Michael, who killed your father?” he looked at her.
“Her name is Irene Derevko. She’s, she’s Sydney’s mother.”
His mother’s eyes lit up.
“How dear you, how dear you bring this woman into my house.”
“Mom?” he said
“How dear you?” she said
“BECAUSE I LOVE HER.” The room fell silent Vaughn just starred at his mother.
“She had nothing to do with it, and she is nothing like her mother. In fact she’s the one who made me come here.”
“Get her out of my house.” She said
Sydney started crying.
“I can’t believe I came here for this. I’m sorry Lauren.” He said as he and Sydney walked out the door.
They got into the car and drove to a hotel back in Paris. When they got a room and headed up too it.
“I’m sorry I put you trough that.” He said
“It’s not your fault, it’s hard to find out someone you loved died.” She said
He went up to her and hugged her.
“Let’s go out, I know this great place.” He said. Sydney agreed and they headed out the door. They walked out into a park that was lit up with many strands of lights. Then he stopped her. There were many people walking through the park.
“Sydney, I love you so much. And I promise you that you will never go through anything alone again.” She started crying. She leaned her head on his chest. He held her there for atleast 15 minutes before they headed back to their room. When they got there Vaughn got the key out to open the door. But it was already open. He pulled out his gun and proceeded inside. “Drop the gun.” A voice said from the corner. Vaughn dropped his gun.
“You didn’t think you would get away twice now did you.” The man walked out of the shadow.
“Will? You’re…” Syd said
“Dead, I thought I was but then Sloane’s men picked me up and saved me.” Will said
“It’s really easy too do what you do.” Will said
“What?” Syd said
“Lie to people.” Will said
“You know it was me in the car.” Will said. There was no way out of this one Syd thought. Then the Alarm clock rang just enough for Syd to kick the gun out of Will’s hand. She knocked him out then tied him up. Vaughn called the CIA and told them they had a Will and that he might know where Sloane is. They said to take him to the HQ in France and where would be a plane waiting for them. So they packed their things and headed for the plane. There were two guards there that made sure Will didn’t move.
“This isn’t exactly how I wanted to spend my vacation.” She said
“Me neither.” He said
They landed in L.A. and then headed to the Operations center.
“Agent Bristow, Agent Vaughn. How was your vacation.”
“It sucked.” They said. Kendall handed Sydney some papers.
“Will is about too be interrogated. You two better go.” Kendall said
Vaughn and Sydney headed to the interrogation room. There they saw Will sitting in a chair. He wouldn’t answer any of the questions asked to him. Except one.
“Did you know that Francie was dead?” the agent asked
“Yes, I’m the one who took her to get cloned. That is all I’m going to say.” Will said
Vaughn and Sydney went to talk to the interrogator.
“So what is going to be done to him?” she asked
“Well he knows to much about the CIA so he’ll probably be kept here for now.” The agent said
“Thank you.” Syd said.
Sydney turned to Vaughn.
“This is crazy there is no way that that man is Will. Will would never do anything like that.”
“And back at the house when you shot him, it wasn’t like him either. He would never push me.
“We’ll figure it out, I promise.” Vaughn said
Just then Jack walked up to them.
“Kendall wants to talk to us now.” Jack said
They followed Jack into the meeting room.
“Jack has convinced me to use Ms. Derevko as bait in order to bring out Sloane.” Kendall said
“Sloane doesn’t know that we have her in our custody, so all we have to do is follow them to the warehouse.” Jack said
“What happens if it goes wrong? And she gets away?” Vaughn asked
“That wont happen. We are going to put a tracking device into her shoulder.”
“You two will be part of the team that will surround the car that Sloane will be in.” Kendall said
“You leave in two hours.”
Vaughn and Sydney put on there gear and got on the plane with the other agents.
“You think this will work?” Vaughn asked
“I hope, if it does I might actually have a life again.” Syd said
When they got off the plane they got back in the air on a helicopter.
“Derevko is entering the limo.” One agent said
“Copy that.” Kendall said
“Wait, we lost visual.” The agent said again
“Delta team move in.” the helicopter followed the car to the end of the pier and then it stopped. Vaughn and Syd got off and walked toward the car. a an got out and was on his knees, but it wasn’t Sloane or Sark. They opened the back door and there was no one there.
“Damn.” Vaughn said
“Boot Camp we lost them.” He said
Sydney stood there in disbelief.
“She planned this.” She said
“Syd come on.” Vaughn pulled her back onto the helicopter.
“She told me she loved me.” Syd said
“Syd, I’m sorry.” Vaughn said
She leaned her head on his shoulder.

(BACK WITH SLOANE)
“Irena its nice too see you again.” Said Sloane “Get that tracking device out of her shoulder.” He ordered one of the men, he dug it out of her skin and then threw it out the window.
“Thank you for extracting me.” She said with a smile on her face.

THIS IS THE OLD VERSION!!! NEW VERSION ON PAGE 8!!!

Okay sorry i didn't know someone else had a fight like that with V's mother and S and V, so who ever had it first i'm sorry. This chapter will be better I hope. Tell me what you think, PLEASE?

(Back at Operations Center)

“Well, agents we have lost Irena Derveko, Which means there is an even greater threat on our hands now. We don’t yet know if she is in fact working for Sloane and Sark, or just by herself.”
“On our hands?” Sydney said
“You made the decision too let this women go. A woman that has killed 12 agents including Agent Vaughn’s father. She will not hesitate to kill more.” Sydney said
“That is why we can’t miss this opportunity.” Kendall said
“What opportunity?” Vaughn asked
“A source has informed us that Sark has made a large purchase of weapons, we have a rough idea of the location.”
“So where is it?” Vaughn asked
“A jungle located somewhere in the Philippines.” Jack said
“Somewhere? There are tons of islands, how are we supposed to know which one it is.” Vaughn said
“We have a team searching the area as we speak. Right now we have no mission plan, but be prepared for when the team reports in.” Kendall said
The agents gathered their papers and left the room.
“I can’t believe this is happening.” Syd said
“What?” Vaughn asked
“My father, he was right the whole time and we didn’t listen too him.” She said
“Syd, there was no way of knowing.” He said
“Sure there was we could have checked up on her to made sure she didn’t somehow contact her superiors.” She said
“It wouldn’t have helped.” Vaughn said
“How do you know, I…” Vaughn interrupted her
“Syd come here.” He said
Vaughn led her into a small office and closed the door.
“Syd, I haven’t told you absolutely everything.” He said
“What do you mean.” Syd looked worried
“When you saw me with the man at the bar, I didn’t just get information about my family.” He said
“I’m listening.” She said
“For the last four months I have been researching your mother, her contacts, I retraced her steps…” Syd cut him off.
“Wait! So you lied to me.”
“Syd…”
“You lied to me.”
“SYD! I couldn’t stand by and think that in some way I was helping her. I wanted to make sure she had no hidden agenda. I thought your father was right, I mean what kind of woman that has killed so many agents just hand herself in, it didn’t make sense.”
“Why did you keep it from me?”
“This is something I had to do for myself.” Vaughn said
“You know you can tell me anything.” She said
“I know and believe me, I wanted to tell you. I didn’t want her to screw your life up again. But I guess it’s too late for that.” Vaughn said
“Your right, she has screwed my life up, but I thought she was dead most of my life. I’ll get used to her not being around again.” She said
“Just promise me that if your going to do something like this atleast tell me.” She said
“I’m sorry, next time I will.” Vaughn said
Just then Weiss burst in.
“Hey, we got a transmission you better get out here.” He said
Vaughn and Sydney followed Weiss.
“Bo..ot…Camp.” the transmission was garbled
“We have a pro…” just then the line went dead.
“Delta force do you copy?” Weiss said
“Delta force do you copy?” Weiss said once again. There was no answer
“Marshall?” Kendall said. Marshall looked up from his desk. “Get over here.” Kendall said.
“What is it?” Marshall asked
“I want you to trace the last transmission that just came in.” Kendall said
“Yeah, sure.” Marshall said as Weiss got up from the chair letting Marshall in.
“Uh, it looks like some where off the coast of the main island.”
“Vaughn, Bristow, get packed your going to the Philippines.”
It didn’t sound like a bad idea, but they knew it was all work and no play, like always.
Vaughn and Sydney got their gear on and got on the plane with 10 other agents. Vaughn informed them of the mission plan.
“There are twelve of us, so there will be four groups of three.”
“Alpha. You will come in from the east.”
“Bravo. You will come in from the south, watch your backs there have been reports of snipers in the area.”
“Charlie. You will stealth in from the west, it’s the most heavily guarded area.”
“Delta. Which will consist of Agent Bristow and myself will come in from the north, the least guarded area. We will be sneaking in to retrieve the Rambaldi documents.”
“We will wait for the cover of darkness to move in. If everything goes as planned then we will meet at the rendezvous point in four hours. And team, keep an eye out for the missing agents, do what ever it takes to get them out. Leave no man behind. One more thing if you see Sloane or Sark, DO NOT hesitate to kill them.” Vaughn sat down. But Sydney stood up. “One more thing.” The agents looked up at her. “If you see Irena Derevko, you better shoot her, before she shoots you. Don’t freeze.”
Sydney sat down. Vaughn didn’t know what to say so he just starred at the floor.
“Sir!” the pilot yelled
“We will be at the insertion point in 5 minutes.”
“Good!” Vaughn said as the troops got ready to parachute out of the plane.
“You ready?” Vaughn said
“Yeah.” Syd said
The doors opened and they started to parachute out. They landed about 5 miles from the compound. They ran to the jungle where they would have more cover and then started to walk the 5 miles. They were now 1 mile away from the compound and it was getting dark, so they decided to turn on their night vision. When all of a sudden the agent that was with them held up a closed fist (Which means stop.) The agent snuck up behind a guard and took him out quietly.
“Keep your eyes open, something tells me they don’t travel alone.” Vaughn said
Sure enough they came across three more guards before they came to the entrance of the compound. Everyone radioed in.
“Alpha in position.”
“Bravo in position.”
“Charlie in position.”
“Delta in position.” Vaughn answered
“Wait for my signal.” He said
