as i have advised nic and sam, i would suggest some place fun like miniature golfing, pool, bowling, go karting, roller skating, ice skating, etc. well, that is, if the girl is into fun stuff like that. those things are relatively cheap and it's not your typical dinner & a movie date which can get pretty darn expensive with the price of movie tickets these days... plus, i think it's easier to bond in less date-like situations like, say, miniature golfing. ^_^Milo47 said:Any good ideas for neato dates....reasonably cheap though but tons of fun??
Cherry! This is scary. Except for the party and tipsy thing ('cause if I had seen him at a party while i was tipsy, I definately would have asked him for his number. LoL I do that type of thing when I'm like that), that is totally my story with Dave. It was a lot of "get his number, get his number" EVERY DAY ('cause we had class every day), and I mean, we talked together before and after class, and he smiled at me every morning, and it was the best way to start the day and... and... I was a complete chicken!crazy spinster said:oooh... that's happened to me as well. although, it wasn't a guy in my class. i met chris at my friend's party at the beginning of last year and due to my being slightly tipsy, i was very talkative and we hit it off right away because we ended up talking for like a couple hours. it was crazy. and he was so cute too! and i kept thinking to myself, "get his number. get his number." but i chickened out and never did.
but then the craziest thing happened - we shared the same classroom. his econ class was right before my psych class in the same lecture hall. and i SAW him practically everyday (well...every tuesdays and thursdays since that's when my class was) and i kept thinking to myself, "go talk to him. go talk to him." but i chickened out and never did.
sigh.
gah!! wow...we do everything alike, don't we? we even chicken out the same way. that IS scary.Existentialist said:Cherry! This is scary. aww...that's so cute!Existentialist said:And yes, Cherry, that must be the reason we're both in the convent. We're chickens. One of my closest friends is like obsessed with chickens (looong story)... that must be why we're friends! Haha, she'd love you too. LoL
Randomly, that reminds me of a card I saw at Hallmark the other day. It's a birthday card, and on the cover it says "you're a good chicken." And on the inside, it says "that's what happens when good eggs grow up." I found it cute.
