Horror films

The sixth sense was so cool, especially since I figured out the red thing... now whenever it is cold and someone is wearing red I freak out ^_^
My husband and I both had the movie figured out, but it made me enjoy the movie even more if anything, but it ruined it for him. Go figure.
^_^

you know, i'm just too scared to see the ring. one of my friends told me about the japanese version way before the american version came out and i got scared just from her telling me about it! and then i actually read a summary of the entire movie and got scared from THAT (yes, i'm just a big scaredy-cat  ) so i don't think i'll be seeing the actual movie any time soon. :(

I'm a big chicken. So sue me?

I refuse to see the ring. All I heard at school was how nobody wanted to be home alone by themselves and how they were even too afraid to pick up the phone. I think the scariest (and grossest) movie I've ever seen is The Birds, with Vertigo running a close second. Psycho did nothing for me, and I Know What You Did Last Summer was just... stupid.

The scariest movie I've ever seen, and my all-time favorite horror movie, is one that nobody besides my friends and I have ever seen! It's called "The Changeling", and it's an older movie from the 70's. It stars George C. Scott as a man who has lost his wife and daughter in a horrible accident, and he moves into an old mansion to compose music. But the house is haunted by a little boy in a wheelchair who was drowned by his father in the bathtub, and...I realize the plot sounds corny, but it's REALLY well-done, and there's a whole detective-story element to it as well. It's VERY creepy. If you like ghost/haunted house movies, this is the best I've ever seen. It still freaks me out to look into my bathtub late at night.

Other than that, I like The Exorcist, Poltergeist, Pet Sematary (I know that's spelled wrong, but that's how the title is spelled), The Sixth Sense, and The Others.

I like the Sixth Sense, The Shining, Rose Red(freaked me out espesially when the guy got his fingers cut off. The year before my brother got his pinky almost cut off in a door. We had to rush him to the hospital. Totally scared me), The Others(twisted), It (in one word AH), and last but not least Carrie(pig blood Eww. Actually I didn't like that show). Oh I love the Mothman Prophecies, and Dragonfly. They were scary, but not really horror.

ooh, the others and the birds were really good too, i agree with you guys. and another good horror movie i just remembered was what lies beneath. actually, it wasn't really horror, more suspense. but REALLY REALLY good. :woot:

Pet Semetery is THE scariest movie of all time! When that dead guy's head popped up off the operating table and he said, "I have seen the gates of Hell. Don't go past the place on the path where the fog reaches," or whatever I could have died. And the wife's freaky sister Zelda with scoliosis or whatever she had where her back was all mangled and junk and she came back after her sister. But I mean the guy was stupid because after the whole fiasco with his evil son and cat coming back from the dead to kill him, he still buried his wife in the pet cemetery. How stupid! People in horror movies are always idiots. although I laughed during scream whent he killers are in the kitchen and the stupid one says, "Dude, you stabbed me too hard," and "Jail! my parents are going to be SO mad!" And he always tripped on stuff and he was funny! And I won't see the ring. After my friends saw it they wouldn't turn on their TVs.

i love watching scary movies but i don't get to see many because no one ever wants to see them with me. :(
I have the same problem because they give my husband nightmares. Too bad you don't live in my town . . .
;)

Alright, another of my scary movies- Murder By Numbers. It was more suspenseful than anything, but wow, that one REALLY freaked me out. Oh, and both of the Mummies, although I love those movies.

The Mummies freak me out too, especially when those bugs crawl around in people. Ewww... I can't wait till the new Stephin King movie "DreamCatcher" comes out. It looks really freaky.

ok if you guys have never seen "fallen" with denzel washington then you need to go rent it. it's a couple years old but man, talk about scary! i'm not freaked out very easily...but that movie and "the ring" had me on the edge of my seat pretending to hide underneath a blanket.

Scary movies make me cry. I think it all started when I was little and my sister made me watch It... now clowns always scare me. So do those drains in the street. I always keep my little dog way away from them. And then the Child's Play movies... I had this American Girls doll (Samantha) and my dad and sister would always say that she was Chuckie's girlfriend, so I locked her in my closet and refused to play with her. The Exorsist was scary when I saw it when I was like 8... but now, it's kinda humorous. Poltergeist still scares the living daylights out of me... "Carol Ann..." :::shivers:::
Blair Witch Project scared me... maybe because I was watching it at like 2 am, and my sister fell asleep and all the lights in the house were out. And I had to turn it off towards the end when they were going up the stairs, 'cause I was getting really motion sick.
I need to see the Ring!!
Has anyone seen the Twilight Zone episode with the Talking Tina doll? When I was in like first grade, my best friend's brother made her and me watch it, and she had a talking doll that sounded exactly like Talking Tina. We were so creeped out, we refused to sleep in her room that night.

Oh goodness clowns scary me2!!!

HAs anyone seen Willard yet? the one with the rats and the guy? I haven't I want to know if its any good, any scary? he he I LOVE HORROR FILMS!!
