How did YOU get into Alias?

i have watched it from the first episode just because that was on, now every sunday i watch alias despite what anyone else wants to watch--i even hooked my sister on it, she loves it and seh claims now that she found it on her own when i said that i introduced her to the show

i have seen every episode of it, and if i cant watch it one night i tape it and read summaries and watch it later i think though the way this show is moving it wil only last for maybe 5 or 6 seasons(but i hope not)

i first started to watch ... i was already into the espionage scene  and figured why not watch this new show(last season) i watch the very first episode and decided to continue on watching it... just because it falls during my study break on sunday... that was at first now i'm hooked! and can't wait fo r my study breaks on sundays :woot:

I remember EXACTLY how I got into Alias. My brothers girlfriend came over, and they were in his room watching it. It was in the beginning (in season 1) and Sydney just said "He had him killed." I wasn't really into it, but when she said "The only other person who knows about what I do, another agent inside of SD-6, a person I hardly know, my father" Then I asked what it was all about. MY brothe explained it to me. Unfortunetly I've only seen like two or three eps from the first season. But a good friend of my other brother has EVERYSINGLE ep, and she's going to lend me the tapes!!! CAN"T WAIT

I started watching from the beginning. I always try to read up on what's new for the upcoming season and Alias sounded like one of the few (along with 24) that was worth a try for 2001. So I tuned in.

And, of course, it was riveting. The production quality of the pilot was cinematic quality, of course, and the plot details--Sloane's action to kill Danny; the interweaving of Suit and Glasses torture with Sydney's equally torturous awakening, etc.--were so vivid. But what cinched the deal for me was when the chips were down and Sloane sent his assassins after Sydney, Jack showed up to save her and revealed himself as a seasoned agent himself with some pretty exciting driving and shooting. Then you go back and watch it again and you pick up the subtle details, like how they use the product placement (Nokia) as a symbol of communication/trust that was lost between father and daughter and now the father tries to re-establish. And so I was hooked.

I watched the pilot too. That was how I got hooked. Over the next few episodes, I hooked my family and my friends.

I have faithfully watched Alias from the very beginning, but I have to say that I didn't really get into it (I mean really into it!) until Episode 1 of Season 2. I don't know why, but that's when my obsession began! LOL

well, at first JpB was talking to a friend about the show and then got Mike "GA" Vaughn hooked about mid-season. they told me to watch Alias, but i refused. during summer school, Mike told me to watch it and i gave into peer pressure ( ) and said ok, gimme the first few episodes. i actually saw a rerun of The Confession, but it didn't make any sense. so I watched Mike's copy of the first few episodes and then got the Alias ball rolling. i asked him for the rest and eventually ended up seeing the whole first season (w/ exception to Masquerade, Snowman, and Solution, and the latter half of the episode where she breaks into the Vatican for the Rambali artifact). then i (along w/ Jpb) told Bizzuty Bobby to watch Alias. im not sure if he's as hooked as we are...

and then one day Jpb told me to join the AllAlias.com Forums and so I did and then got Bizzuty Bobby to join (although JpB says it washim, i know it was i who got him to join..) and now here i am, half a year later, hooked on Alias. and that's my story. :xmas:

i used to watch the practice, and so when alias started i saw the last 10 minutes of each episode, and i thought vaughn was a cutie... then, a friend of mine told me that vaughn was kinda like the guy i liked, he was even french and did this eyebrow raise! so then i started watching, this was like december end and then january i really started to get hooked, and then i got obsessed. hahahahah everyone i know knows that i like alias.
and i saw a friend of mine after season finale and we both screamed really loud. luckily my teacher had watched it too, so we didnt get in trouble
now, alias just plain ROCKS!!!!!!!

hahaha did you know they all go to an all boys private school
*ahem*
bell-boys
yes, i too got many friends and ALL MY FAMILY hooked

I wish I could get my friends hooked--or at least my husband!

yeah, i got my cousin into Alias (and she wants Syd and Sark to get together not her and Vaughn because Sark has an accent). and so what if we go to an all boys school?

of course the summer before alias came on.. i saw previews for it.. i looked good..then i read on a web site that mv was going to be in it to... a plus.... i watched it and totally got me hooked...ever since i've been hooking people up to the show.. so far i've hooked 13 people to the show..and i hope to hook more people..

Me and my family watched one of those movies they play before the show. you know the whole "wonderful world of Disney" thing. then we got distracted and left the channel on and when Alias came on I was like totally intrigued i guess i loved it. and ever since then I've watched it. Jenn is so pretty and is a perfect person for the part!!

I've been hearing about it over the summer before the first season, but I wasn't going to watch it. But than I decided to watch it because I liked the idea of a woman that could kick butt, be smart and still be sexy, and the spy stuff intrigued me, so I decided to watch it,but than for some reason lost interest before the season was over and missed like the last 5 eps or so. I never taped them so when ABC Family had that marathon there was my op to tape them and I did and than they had another marathon with the eps I did miss and got caught up. And here I am.

I remember seeing the preview for it, and I saw this girl with hotpink hair. I kinda thought "That looks stupid" but I tuned in anyway, I was quite curious. I remember loving the first episode, and I watched it twice in a row, since in Canada it's aired on CTV at 8:00 and ABC at 10:00. I went to school the next day and told all my friends about, but only one ever watched it, and we're totally hooked. We've had Alias parties and everything, we're obsessed. (Mainly with the Sydney/Vaughn romance!) ;) Anyways, that's pretty much my story, love the show, never missed an episode yet. My calendar revolves around Alias.

wow, looks like most of us either we're the hooker (one who hooks others, not what you're all thinking about) or the hookee (one who was hooked by others)
