I KNEW IRINA WAS EVIL!

Awwwww...I KNEW she was going to be evil!!! Especially they way she said goodby to Sydney...she probably won't turn out to be evil, and she's just trying to catch Sloane, but hay...for right now I KNEW IT I KNEW IT I KNEW IT!!!!!! Who else thinks that she's not evil?

PS: I KNEW VAUGHN WAS GOOD ALL ALONG TOO, SO THERE'S NO WAY HE'S RELATED TO SARK ETC.

Don't get too caught up in what's just happened. I mean, sure it seems like Irina is evil now, but oh la de da and a whoop dee doo later, she could be back in CIA custody, claiming to have been trying to help destroy sloane.

How can she be evil ...look at the way she talks to SYD you can tell she really loves her an sad that she didnt spend more time with her............JACK too like in the last episode they were doing everything for there daughter ...there is no way .....we all have seen how Irina can deceive the enemy ...COME ON there is no way.

I really really want Irina to be good. I honestly felt that she turned herself in to be with her daughter. And as you said, affection for Sydney looked so real.

But this could all be part of a trap. (Sorry, I do hate to say that.) As much as I want Irina to be good, she is a mastermind of games. Remember, she said in the last episode, "I love games."

So, as much as we like Irina, I think we still have to keep an open mind.

I honestly do wish Irina not to be evil. She seems to love Sydney so much, and really wishes she could've seen her grow up to the person she is today. I believe Syd would've been different growing up w/Irina as Laura, her mother.

dude! it blew my mind when i found that she was the one that took the dark turn..for reals my mind went blank...oh and about the vaughn thing..of course he was not evil...

Yes, we all know he couldn't be evil!! I'm not saying Irina IS evil, I'm just saying, she could be. But I really hope she isn't! That would be such a blow to Sydney and Jack. And if she is evil, I think Jack would expect this, I think Sydney is too naive to really understand how much Irina has done. All in all, I REALLY hope all of you are right and she isn't evil!

i knew Vaughn wouldn't turn out to be bad. it's just not possible. but i applaud him checking up on Irina Derevko. i'm torn as to whether i think Irina has turned yet or not. eventually she will. her obsession with Rambaldi will get the best of her and she'll stop at nothing to solve the Rambaldi mystery. i just don't know if she's flown the coop yet. it doesn't look good for her. the way she said goodbye to Sydney leads me to believe that she wasn't planning on coming back. and because she took that small Rambaldi book with her when she didn't really need it (Jack said that Sloane would know that she wouldn't be stupid enough to bring it with her) i would assume that she's decided to get out of CIA custody while she can. but i will not say that i believe that 100% because i learned early on to leave room for surprises. and i'm very upset that she may have gone bad because i like her more and more all the time.

i knew she was but maybe this is all still a ploy--but it just proves that jack is blind time and time again

As I have said many many many times before... SHE IS NOT EVIL!!!
Amen! What is this, a WB show? Nothing is what it seems on this show, NOTHING. After almost 2 seasons, you should have known better.

Dooes it ever. I knew when he said "trust me, if she was lying to me again, I'd know" he was wrong, it totally gave it away!

I know! I have only been watching this since the 3rd ep this season and even I know that :P

Maybe I am just deluding myself, but I don't think she is evil. If she is then it will be extremely lame because the most interesting dynamic of the show is the SpyFamily-Jack, Syd, AND Irina and their issues. Unless JJ is still trying to attract the drunken StuporBowl crowd with shock and simplified characters, I just don't think this is the case.

If Syd and Jack hate Irina alot of the substance of the show is gone IMHO. For one thing it would make the issue of Irina killing Vaughn's dad sort of a nonissue. What would be interesting to watch is how he deals with Irina in Syd's life. An evil Irina will not be in Syd's life.

One more thing, I love her relationship with Jack and Vaughn and the other guys. But come on, the girl just lost her best friend and maybe her mom. These are two very important and necessary people in any woman's life. Give the girl a break! Better yet, give Syd her mother!

n an underground tunnel, Syd and Irina exchange gunfire. Irina runs to a ladder and climbs up. Syd commands her to "freeze," but Irina continues to climb. Irina emerges from the tunnel outside a Tuscan villa, and as she begins closing the escape hatch, Syd aims her gun up the hatch at her mother and fires. IRINA IS CLEARLY HIT. There is the sound of a helicopter. Vaughn and Dixon arrive in the clearing and watch the helicopter fly off. Vaughn sees Sydney on her knees crying beside "a fallen body." Vaughn kneels beside her and puts his arm around her.
