i think she is evil, as soon as she asked jack to take out the locator i knew she was going to escape.

and when she says to sloan "thank you for extracting me."

Just remember Jack's words to Sydney in an earlier episode. ( can't recall the title right now ) it was something to the affect of 'don't react on simple conclusions, I thought you of all people would have learned that by now'. I don't believe that Irina is bad. There is something more going on.
 
I don't think Irina is evil...I just think she's obsessed with Rambaldi and now that the Alliance is gone has a burning desire to solve his puzzle...as soon as she can she too is going to want to get Sloane out of the picture as soon as he is no longer useful...and I think she's changed and doesn't want to betray Syd&Jack...in fact, I'm not sure that she ever did...it's like Syd said at the very beginning, (paraphrase) "You're the person that completes my life, I just met the agency first."

Exactly! He said that to Syd in 1.06 - Reckoning: " I am smart enough not to draw simple conclusions and then act upon them. I would think if anyone had learned that lesson, it would have been you. "

She'll never learn... :rolleyes:
 
I have been saying for the longest time that Irina was evil, and no one believed me. Voila! But still, the writers are too pure of heart to make her evil. Something will happen and Irina will turn out to be loyal all along, and everything will be happy-go-lucky... Almost. ;)
 
Sydney only kills in self defense and Jack is in the medium between good and bad, so he's killed before but as far as i've seen it was to protect Syd. Irina killed 12 CIA officers and those people in Hong Kong, I think that's where it was, in the last episode. She slit the one guys throat and stabbed the other two. I mean come on, you know Syd wouldn't be that grusome. She'd just punch and kick them and knock them out. Jack only shot the one guy in that same scene because the guy was going to shoot Irina. :Ph34r:
 
i think that irina loves sydney and jack but she doesn't want to work for anyone but herself. basically she is kinda sellfish. ya know?
 
yeah, I know. That's basically my take on it. She's just too obsessed to let it go, though she may love Syd and Jack. Hey, aren't they still married?
 
psh i so knew that she was gonna be bad-- everyone's like oh no, she is good now, and umm NOOOOO! and the way she was acting towards jack-- i was gonna pull my hair out!! i so so so so knew it.
 
I KNEW DEREVKO WAS EVIL FROM THE VERY BEGINNING!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was SO happy when she finally releaved it!!! And when Jack kissed her my mom and brother had to pin me down to the couch!! I was screaming(literally) going "JACK YOU IDIOT STOP!!! SHE"S EVIL!!! IDIOT!!!!!!!" LOL it was kinda funny. My friend has been convinced all along that she 's good and she wouldn't read my story-Distant-because of that reason.
