Well, Francinator does die. But Vaughn does not tell Syd that he's married right after that. She wakes up in Hong Kong and goes to call the CIA, saying something like "I just woke up in Hong Kong. I don't know how I got here or long I've been out" and Kendall directs her to a safehouse. She goes there, and Vaughn shows up, and explains that she's been missing for almost 2 years. And when he rubs his eyes, you see the glint of a gold ring on his 4th finger. That's really the abbreviated version.
