It is an honor to meet you, I'm having problems with my PM so we'll just have to e-mail, my address is listed under my name, feel free to e-mail, that would be awesome. That is so cool about Henry B. Eyering! L. Tom Perry came to our Stake Conference about three years ago as did Gordon B. Hinckley and Thomas S. Monson for a Regional Conference( I think that is what the meeting was called at least).

OH MY GOSH!!! I can't believe you guys get General Authorities to come to your conferences!! We've had a member of the 70 come maybe once!! LMAO!! And it's always people no ones ever heard of!!! What was it like meeting them Lauren and Nad?...I shook the prophets hand once...at the spokane temple dedication...my family and i were inside...IT WAS SOOOO COOL!! oh my gosh...he is truly the greatest man alive...he keeps talking about how hes not gonna be around much longer and it makes me so sad...i have nothing against Thomas. S. Monson...but...he just doesn't LOOK like a prophet...ya know? lol...I love Pres. Hinkley's wife! She is the cutest thing I have ever seen!! I wanna be like her when I'm old! lol...Oh wait!! I did meet someone...this weekend...Sister Smoot was just released as the General Relief Society President...and I had dinner with her!! It was so awesome!! She's a really neat lady! She had some really neat stories to tell!

I love Sis. Hinckley!!! The pictures of she and the prophet are so cute!!! For our Stake Conference we had two members of the 70 come, one was unexpected but it was a pleasant surprise. We've also had Sheri Dew come and speak a few times, last week we had the YW secretary speak in a fireside. I love going to those meetings! I would love to eat with Sister Smoot! You are so lucky!

How do you guys get all these famous people to come??? We never have anyone!!! When our Stake President comes it's like the big news!! lol!

first off when i saw this topic i got so excited! i love that there are fellow mormon alias lovers. i go to byu-idaho and my roommates and are addicted. we record alias then stay up and watch it at midnight, it's a great way to start your monday! we even went to a ward party where your apartment had to dress alike as cia agents . . . no one was as excited as we were though, they just didn't understand. anyway, we just had elder worthlin come to our stake conference, but i had to leave early so i missed him speaking. he spoke at one of our devotionals at school though, in fact it was the week before the prophet came. when president hinckley was there, it was probably the most amazing experience i've ever had hearing a prophet speak. he was there to dedicate the new hinckley bulding (imagine that), and at one point he stopped to tell us of the great love he has for us and he started to cry, and i don't think there was a dry eye on campus, i tear up just thinking of it!

That is so cool! I have actually met Joseph B. Wirthlin. Only it wasn't for a meeting. He came to a school basketball game. One of my friends is his grandson and he plays on the team and Elder Wirthlin came to see him play. It was weird to see! How cool would it be to be the grandson of an apostle? My mom was one of Richard G. Scott's (I am pretty sure that is who it is) daughter's young women when she was in the presidency. She would take them for a sleepover at their cabin and he would always come by to check in on them even though their cabin was an hour away from his house!

that's actually kind of funny that your friend is his grandson because one of my friend is his granddaughter! small world huh? well, at least it's a small church.

Weird! Does your friend's last name start with a G? It is nice to meet you by the way. I am also absolutely obsessed! I love Alias!

AWESOME!!! ANOTHER MORMON!!!!!! HAHA!!! This is great!!! I live in Idaho....I go to Rexburg all the time!! I have a cousin who goes to BYU-Idaho...what if ive seen you or you are her roommate or something lol!! I used to have to tape alias and watch it at midnight,....but my parents eventually gave in and let me watch it at 9...they're like...your breaking the spirit 3 hours early!! so you better be spiritual for 3 hours this week to make up for it!!! HAHA!!

i think the same thing about what difference does a few hours make, but there's not a lot of time on sundays . . . church, meetings for callings, sunday dinners with friends, firesides, ward prayer, stadium singing (i don't go, but my roomies do), calling home, etc. plus the anticipation is great, though i don't know if we'll be able to wait to watch the season premire!

hi im back!!! in 2002 or 2001 general confrence our young womens went to utah and we got to go the confrence center. It was SOOO much fun!! and i was a lucky and choosen one (she said sarcastically) that got to wait in line for the tickets with her mom while the others got to go shopping! but it all paid off because me and my mom and my friend and this little annoying behive (no offense) got to sit on the floor level and like 20 rows behind the marked off areas and it was so cool b cuz all of my friends and i could totally feel pres. Hinkleys spirt and it was soo strong.

ya having Henry B. come was the like the first time a athority had every come we never even have had a 70 come but when he was there he was relesing (i can't spell) our stake presidency and calling a new one. but when he was there he said that there were so many rightous people in out stake and that there was like 20-50 men that could of been the stake president it was crazy.

lauren vartan :surf:

ps o ya WELCOME Sydlancer!!!! my cuzin amber went to ricks (when it was ricks) and she got addicted to alias there and then she moved to BYU utah and she watched alias there and taped them all too and now she is on her mission in Italy. I secretly write her and tell her about our friends *wink wink* Sydney Vaughn and Jack etc. our parents don't know the names of the chataers (even thought we talk about it all the time). lol hahaha!
