Irina Derevko

That's interestting, maybe Irina has something to do with Syd's dissapearence. BUt that wouldn't make sense cause she still fought Francie, but maybe Irina found Syd or something, hmmm i don't know.
 
I'm just about 99% sure that Irina loves Sydney. The rest such as Irina's loyalties are questionable. She has betrayed everyone except perhaps Sydney - perhaps she does have an agenda for now; just like Sloane had one, but we weren't aware of Sloane's one until "Phase One," when SD6 was destroyed. Sloane's "Phase Two," is just as mysterious. Sark's loyalties are just as questionable as Irina's because he is "flexible" with them, as he said when Sydney and Vaughn caught him in Sweden.

Sloane is definately working for himself - he is just so damned obsessed with Rambaldi to do anything otherwise. I hope that Irina redeems herself somewhat, although it would not be easy to do that, I wonder if its just wishful thinking on my part. Sark may still be in CIA custody, although I doubt that they would give him a similar immunity agreement as they did with Irina - or did he escape custody during the past two years?

Anyways I'm eagerly awaiting Season 3's premiere episode. JJ better not disappoint me. At least I've accepted that Vaughn's married to someone else . . . I'm just hoping that the new guy on the show is not a new love interest for Sydney.
 
Irina is good! She's alive. I think her and Sydney will team up against Sloane and Sark.

Irina confuses me one minute she's good the next she's bad.... talk about 2 split personalites... maybe she's suffering from schizophernia!! one side is called Irina derevko and the other Laura Bristow... yup she's crazy!!

He knows more about rambaldi then Sydney and he figured out that Sydney was a double agent and he also planned on how to defeat the alliance by using sydney

I'll grant you that he's extremely intelligent and Jack and Sydney (and Irina, BTW) never tipped to what he was doing with Emily, did they? But it took Sark telling him that Jack and Sydney were doubles. He didn't figure that out for himself. (Kane was right in that respect, he had a bit of a blind spot with respect to the Bristows.)

Yes it does describe Irina very well
I doubt her motovations will ever fully be explained since her character is too complex. But that is what makes her so interesting
 
Well, lets just settle with: She loves Syd, and she still has feelings for Jack. That's about as much as we can really be sure of...and we can't even be sure of some of that!
 
when irina gave herself up she said she was just giving herself in but she wasnt maybe she needed more CIA stuff and knew she wouldnt be trusted and sent sark to get intel for them, and all the rambaldi stuff has probably got to do with sloane and sydney cause the oracle did say it, and perhaps sloane was 'sleeping' for 2 years. and perhaps theres a new espinage complex called Sark and Derevko Ltd. but that would just be stupid ;)
